Can this be used to even out a lawn that is wavy? can this be used to break up a thick mat of grass that is not allowing hew, strong growth? 3. Is deep tilling destructive to the soil? 4. Doesn't the grass cause weeds if you till it in? Thanks!
1. A rear-tine tiller like this is pretty easy to use.. but not one this big perhaps... I use this big one because it's the only thing that'll survive the abse I give it. It's the turning that's hard.. on a large lawn it is much easier.
2. No, wavy lawns can' be evened out by tilling. This will break up a thick mat of grass, but the grass would then be incorporated into the soil... you need a dethatcher.
