Since I was a huge fan of twilight princess and played nearly every Zeldagame, I must say, that I'm a bit disappointed... It's sad, that they don't use the same graphic as seen in TP... The problem is, that WW was far too colorful and was in fact a game for childs.
The story was nice, but it can't compare with with a crazy zant or even a wolf-link.
TP had a fantastic dark atmosphere and you were sucked inside the story, while the comic style monsters of WW were funny and that's all you can say...

@kimarne2 I agree, Nintendo knows what the fuck they are doing... they saw from mile away that Microsoft and Sony were about to go for the "let's make video games look realistic" strategy for this gen.... I think Nintendo realizes that that's not what video games are about... Nintendo can make a 1080p or 1080i system if they wanted to... they actually had the system with better graphics during the fifth generation, with N64 having 64 bit graphics and the Playstation having 32 bit graphics.
@NinoshotheLandmaster I agree even though i dont like the grafics but i think that right now, games are too easy but have good grafics, so this game has kind of lame grafics but maybe it will have better gameplay and a harder difficulty. Instead of them trying to hard for grafics, they tried harder for better gameplay and difficulty. I do hope they make another zelda game after this one that looks like tp and plays maybe like this one or something.
Also, to everyone who hates these graphics, TP was meant to look closer to real life, but I think that SS is meant to FEEL more realistic. Maybe the next Zelda will be both!
This game looks epic. My only question is, is it actually that hard to swing the sword in a certain direction, or was Miyamoto either trying really hard to show the controls or really bad at the game? I'm gonna guess the second one, but I could be wrong.
I think the newer improved graphics which are a delicious blend of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess are the best graphics yet! I can't wait for this game. Anyone who says otherwise deserves to die because I say so.

@LuminixSurrender Of course Twilight Princess had better graphics. Don't you remember that TP was the "realistic Zelda" that everyone had been waiting for. Before then the series looked similar to some sort of childrens' cartoon with light vibrant colors and wacky looking scenaries. TP is the only one not like that, and they had to make the graphics good to make it seem more realistic. Nintendo has return to the cartoon like feel that fans love and that is why you think the graphics suck.
miamoto thinks the majority of people who play zelda are 5-10 year old retards who like to look at pretty colors while clapping their hands and giggling, while I think the core audience are teenagers and people in their 20's and even 30's who grew up with the nes and snes zelda games. this graphic style is almost as lame as wind waker, and that is a big reason why alot of people will never buy this game

I'm very dissapointed. First of all what makes great, the escence and the excitement of TP was the cool graphics that looks very real and I hate the WW graphics because it makes me LOL instead of impressing me. @jedi666sith How would you know if they were bored or excited? Considering the plethora of E3 awards this game won I'd say that's a pretty stupid thing to say. The controls are fine, they didn't work during this demonstration because of infrared interference, that's pretty well known by now.
As for the graphics, that's completely subjective. You might not like it but others do, and it certainly isn't what makes the series great. Zelda is supposed to be whimsical, not realistic.

i thought that too. but it cant be because their world was covered in oceans. There were no field area's like that. Its most likely after one of the earlier games like a link to the past or another 100 year situation when it came to the timeline. Actually, considering he knows twilight links techniques he might be his incarnation or in his bloodline. Since the hero of time taught the TP link his techniques (its proven :P)

I think the art direction of this game is just perfect. This is the exact art style Miyamoto has been trying to nail for Zelda now for years, and it looks very fitting. Its not way too tooney like Windwaker, yet still more toon than Twilight Princess. I think its a perfect mix that looks very fitting for a Zelda.
Miyamoto's da man! To be honest, the controls look a little laggy but I trust the big N to fix these things before they release a Zelda game upon the world.

You know what, I honestly could care less if this game isn't quite like past games in the series. I don't want to play Ocarina of Time again, I want a new experience. Besides, I thought all Zelda games were supposed to be a new experience, why go back in time?
Besides, I thikn the graphics look absolutely beautiful. Realistic? No, but that's not what Zelda is about. Gameplay looks really good.

I've never been interested in remakes. Unless they can make some significant changes that will make the game a new experience, maybe I'll give the game a try. unfortunately myamoto is not actively involved in producing zelda games anymore. He might be the head of the zelda team at nintendo, but he's not the one who implements ideas. Last game he was fully involved in was Ocarinca of time. Thats actually the reason why every following zelda since then has been worse than Oot... The people behind it changed and so did the gameplay..! For all of us who still believe in an Oot 2, we will NOT be satisfied as long as Myamoto doesn't take over again!

Nintendo doesnt make high end graphic games, they make epic, and entertaining game's. they dont think of getting the game look like crysis and other similar game's, i think its great that they think of entertainment and excitement more than getting the game to look like these high end games

@kimarne2 I agree, Nintendo knows what the fuck they are doing... they saw from mile away that Microsoft and Sony were about to go for the "let's make video games look realistic" strategy for this gen.... I think Nintendo realizes that that's not what video games are about... Nintendo can make a 1080p or 1080i system if they wanted to... they actually had the system with better graphics during the fifth generation, with N64 having 64 bit graphics and the Playstation having 32 bit graphics.

@NinoshotheLandmaster I agree even though i dont like the grafics but i think that right now, games are too easy but have good grafics, so this game has kind of lame grafics but maybe it will have better gameplay and a harder difficulty. Instead of them trying to hard for grafics, they tried harder for better gameplay and difficulty. I do hope they make another zelda game after this one that looks like tp and plays maybe like this one or something.

This game looks epic. My only question is, is it actually that hard to swing the sword in a certain direction, or was Miyamoto either trying really hard to show the controls or really bad at the game? I'm gonna guess the second one, but I could be wrong.

I think the newer improved graphics which are a delicious blend of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess are the best graphics yet! I can't wait for this game. Anyone who says otherwise deserves to die because I say so.

@LuminixSurrender Of course Twilight Princess had better graphics. Don't you remember that TP was the "realistic Zelda" that everyone had been waiting for. Before then the series looked similar to some sort of childrens' cartoon with light vibrant colors and wacky looking scenaries. TP is the only one not like that, and they had to make the graphics good to make it seem more realistic. Nintendo has return to the cartoon like feel that fans love and that is why you think the graphics suck.

miamoto thinks the majority of people who play zelda are 5-10 year old retards who like to look at pretty colors while clapping their hands and giggling, while I think the core audience are teenagers and people in their 20's and even 30's who grew up with the nes and snes zelda games. this graphic style is almost as lame as wind waker, and that is a big reason why alot of people will never buy this game

I'm very dissapointed. First of all what makes great, the escence and the excitement of TP was the cool graphics that looks very real and I hate the WW graphics because it makes me LOL instead of impressing me. Secondly they just prove how fucked up are the controls, in a moment of almost dying that will end up your life in the game when you want to make a move and link does another one like in this video with miyamoto's face of "WTF". On the TP trailer the people was excited and here are bored

@jedi666sith How would you know if they were bored or excited? Considering the plethora of E3 awards this game won I'd say that's a pretty stupid thing to say. The controls are fine, they didn't work during this demonstration because of infrared interference, that's pretty well known by now.
As for the graphics, that's completely subjective. You might not like it but others do, and it certainly isn't what makes the series great. Zelda is supposed to be whimsical, not realistic.

Because I saw the first reaction of the people on the first TP trailer and compared to this one, there's alot of difference and if this game won the E3 award or not it doesn't make it better, and thnks to the infrared interference that's problem of the system and not of the game so what I wanted to say is that the system is fucked up if PS3 "move" doesn't have this problem why this yes? I'm agree with you about the graphics but I got tired of the same shit "WW,ALTTPFS,FSA,TMC,PH,ST and now this"

the controls seem so unresponsive.. I wish they would focus less on the controls and more on the gameplay itself, don't get me wrong I'm stoked about this game I just think they should've taken another approach. There hasn't been a good Zelda game since Wind Waker (in my opinion)

i thought that too. but it cant be because their world was covered in oceans. There were no field area's like that. Its most likely after one of the earlier games like a link to the past or another 100 year situation when it came to the timeline. Actually, considering he knows twilight links techniques he might be his incarnation or in his bloodline. Since the hero of time taught the TP link his techniques (its proven :P)

@hunter0333 actually, he could be WW link. ya in WW the land was covered in ocean, but you seen alot of the same kind of stuff as what the land looks like in this new one when you were in the forest on WW likn's home island. in addition to that, the land could've changed. ya know? new land is formed on earth all the time. why can't it be the same way in this situation. i also think that the hero's in all the zelda games are somehow related. so it could really be anything.

I think the art direction of this game is just perfect. This is the exact art style Miyamoto has been trying to nail for Zelda now for years, and it looks very fitting. Its not way too tooney like Windwaker, yet still more toon than Twilight Princess. I think its a perfect mix that looks very fitting for a Zelda.

You know what, I honestly could care less if this game isn't quite like past games in the series. I don't want to play Ocarina of Time again, I want a new experience. Besides, I thought all Zelda games were supposed to be a new experience, why go back in time?
Besides, I thikn the graphics look absolutely beautiful. Realistic? No, but that's not what Zelda is about. Gameplay looks really good.

@Jareddude123 Yeah, and in all honestly, I'm really not that interested. I love Ocarina of Time, but I don't feel like paying money to play the exact same game again. I've never been interested in remakes. Unless they can make some significant changes that will make the game a new experience, maybe I'll give the game a try. But until then, I will at least try to keep an open mind.

unfortunately myamoto is not actively involved in producing zelda games anymore. He might be the head of the zelda team at nintendo, but he's not the one who implements ideas. Last game he was fully involved in was Ocarinca of time. Thats actually the reason why every following zelda since then has been worse than Oot... The people behind it changed and so did the gameplay..! For all of us who still believe in an Oot 2, we will NOT be satisfied as long as Myamoto doesn't take over again!
