I can't understand all the Madonna bashing as far as her singing and songwriting. She's great. I don't like some of her politics and antics, but I can separate those from her talent. And her talent is huge.

This song was performed by the great Shirley Bassey, who is one of the most powerful vocals of the last four decades. She did a magnificent performance, but even she couldn't give what Madonna gives. Susan Boyle is ok, too. But no one sings this better than Madonna. And not only this song, all Madonna songs does not sound good from someone else. That's why she is one and only. Madonna is a great performer, singer. She has her own style.

I like her voice. She can make those thin notes (Material Girl, American Life and Im going bananas), those dark notes (Live to tell, Take a bow, Jump).

Her middle range is very good, she never uses her high notes or head notes live a lot, her vibrato is great, but she need to control better her voice

Who the hell is ridiculous enough to say that madonna cant sing? This is excellent. ONe doesn't need endless run and huge top notes to be considered a great singer. Her performance is accurate and full of pathos.....she means every word she sings

I was fortunate enough to see the Drowned World Tour 4x live....each show Madonna performed You'll See in place of Gone. Though I love Gone, You'll See is one of my all-time M faves, so I was thrilled!
