did i see the tenor from moosebutter in this group? hey,all these bad posts! there's a bunch of guys singing- what could possibly be wrong with that? love andre crouch, too 5 stars
It would be wrong of me NOT to comment after reading a few of these statements which seem to miss the purpose of this song altogether. How one performs this piece carries little weight when it comes to the message it should convey. Thank you for choosing to sing such an applicable song to all true Believers' living..."WE ARE GOING TO SEE THE KING" and a message for all who desire to experience the same...thanks!
i dont believe performing gospel music is about imitation. As an Lds African-American, who is a singer in Byu-idaho's Collegiate Singers choir, i find that making sure that the style is respected is more important than anything. Yes they are a very proper choir, and they did their own rendition of a gospel classic. I applaud your effort.
They tried, it wasnot that bad! The harmony was ok. The clapping sucked, but they get an A for effort. And the ending was kinda nice. I liked that they even attempted 2 sing da song. Shows that their director has a diverse attitude!
This might sound racist...but unless this song is being sung by a bunch of soulful black women...it's just not going to sound good. Wonder Bread white boys from BYU in Utah won't get the job done...sorry.
Some things are better left unsaid...you brought no intelligent view to the conversation. You are giving yourself to much credit...you do not have enough intelligents to be racist. You are culturely dwarfed, this is why you can't appreciate this version.
I love this arrangement, its amazing, the members of my beloved church, which is (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints).

I actually like this rendition the best. For a choral arrangement, they sang as one.
