Get someone to press the gas pedal and you will see the throttle linkage move. Disconnect all the mechanical bits for the throttle from the top of the engine and keep them, even the bit that the cable connects to. They will be useful when connecting the throttle to the "PotbBox". The wires going to the windscreen wiper are just going into the engine bay wiring - leave this. Just disconnect all wires actually connecting to the engine and gearbox assembly so this can be removed.
