  • @omgalreadyinuse I was thinking the same thing! Fallout 3 kicks ass!

  • WTF you know how dangerous it is to have a light beside liquids?

  • cool. one of my teacher's father in law invented the glow stick. her last name is rauhut. search it on the internet. XD

  • i think if u put milk at slime with uv liquid in to a clear glass and put it alll there an lock the glass maybe it will be a lava lamp :D

  • futsang i can so tell u are american :L "beverage" LOL

  • And you are happy ?

  • black light or UV light

  • FAGOT....yess

    FAGOT

  • this is actually real no highlighter or glo sticks involved.. any type of tonic water will glow because tonic water contains the chemical quinine, a substance that naturally fluorescences an eerie bluish color under black lights. it was originally put in the water to ward of Malaria and such things.

  • oh man. i thought itd be a lot cooler

  • what the fuck is black light?????

  • ultra violet light it is known to make fluresent things glow and im assuming these guys put highlighter ink into lemonade and drop a blacklight neer it

  • so black light and UV light is the same thing

  • if memory serves there is a slight difference but yea it should do the same thing

  • Moron.

  • It's a UV lamp.

  • a UV light

  • UV light, a light which emits UV rays, That kind of light that can make white clothes glow blue in the dark

  • ultrae vilot light and high liter ink in lemonade and montos

  • Lemonade? Do you have carbonated lemonade wherever you are from? The whole explosive element comes from the carbonation bubbles, we don't have any carbonated lemonade her in New England as far as I know... by the way the phosphorescent element is most likely quinine which is found in tonic water and some ginger ales.

  • Google "Schweppes Lemonade".

  • "carbonation bubbles" also known as carbon dioxide :| :P :)

  • actually i have had carbonated lemonade before. i've also had carbonated grapefruit juice.

  • you could try adding club soda

  • wow you really need to go back to nursery learn how to spell

  • you answer everybody?

  • alll he or she did was glow sitcks+mountaindew+mentos=lame experiment >:p

  • There is no glowstick. That's a black light. It is really bright to the camera (the camera sees ultraviolet light), but good UV lamps are nearly invisible. But yeah, it is a very simple project. That's the point :)

  • @futsang thats even lamer

  • water + elictrical light = not very good results...move the black light further away next time

  • I'll keep that in mind and may make another video. I had the light purposely in the video so people would realize the black light is necessary for the effect.

  • @gameplayer05 You could use tonic water, which will glow under a black light because it has quinine in it.

  • @gameplayer05 its tonic man .... what could possible go wrong Oo

  • That's loog avesome i maked one too

  • That was pretty cool.

  • you should have put in florescent dye and more mentos

  • If you used highlighter ink you could get the fountain to be pretty much any color and could use any carbonated beverage.

  • hahahaha cleaver!! thats awesome.
