The pipe with the coins and 1-up are so known by anyone. The 1-up in 1-2 is a bit less known, but you were surprised to get it. If ypur doing a walkthrough, you shpuld know where everything is. This is not a matter of having no life, or this video being old. You're missing the point of a walkthrough

Last time I checked, every walkthrough I see on gamefaqs or that I've bought has everything in it.That's a real walkthrough/guide. And the pipe and 1-up in 1-1 and the 1-up in 1-2 are so universally known. He probably doesn't know about the negative world or the warp to world 6,7,and 8. This guy is not fit for walkthroughs when he dies at such an easy level and doesn't know where anything is

im terribly sorry, but its been about 12 years since i played this, and i A: sitl remember where there is an invisible 1up that you missed. B: that you dont jump down to that shroom thingy on lv2, and try to preserve your "super" power... and C: that you always, take the fast way... Always!

Old Mario games are a lot harder than these new ones in my opinion. Personally, I'd rather get aggravated with a game and have to die a lot of times, than spend $50 on something I can go through in 1-3 days easily. Besides, I feel more accomplished after getting through something very difficult.
