Visual Kei is not a sub-genre of Metal. The first band shown (Sex Machineguns) is not a VK band. The second band (X Japan) is not VK either, they are a speed/power glam band from the 80's (VK emerged in late 90's). Finally, the band at the end (Sigh) is an avant-garde black metal band. If you want to see real metal from japan, avoid VK. Check out stuff like Sex Machineguns, Anthem, Loudness, Sigh, Maximum the Hormone, Galneryus, Ark Storm, Concerto Moon, Metal Safari, Seikima-II, and EZO.

Doom (the Japanese band of course), Casbah, Jurassic Jade (their lead singer is totally unique; an overweight beast of a woman and awesome!).

There are many more interesting bands from the 80s but my memory is kaput.
