ooh great bc i have a steam engine so i wouldnt have to convert but i still might bc i am not buying any more engines with those couplers for knuckle are better i think so i will just use that engine with those cars. listen, Ray THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF THE HELP i have most of it typed in a document so i dont forget it :D it was unbelievably helpful to me and my layout and i cannot wait to get some of the wagons and add them to my layout!
no im sorry i meant like if i were to fly to london and buy a mineral wagon straight out of the factory.. what couplings would they come with? are they called rapido? if so i have a steam engine with these which is very good :D
oo ok i see so basically a conversion car,, and anyways are they just rapido couplers or are they something else. and can i just buy a whole new truck (wheels and all) and get a knuckle coupler. sorry for so many questions im kinda still a beginner :))) thanks
no problem we all have to learn even if old, young, experienced or newbie. I have got all my stuff from ebay, n gauge, oo gauge, on30 gauge and got them by doing searches, for n gauge, fleischman, fleischman n gauge, lifelike, arnold. Basically you only need one truck that you modify so connects to loco and other end remain as brought, hope this helps, regards Ray.
ooh i see so only one car to convert and only convert one truck of it and the rest of the cars can remain standard euro couplings :D i get it and so what r the couplers called? r they rapido's? if so i dont need to convert i still have one engine with rapido couplers
hi, I assume you may mean kadee type coupling's, I have managed to get round that problem by using another truck which you can change couplings on so one end kadee the other end the normal eauropean coupling, keep an eye out on Ebay, you may drop lucky, hope this helps.
dude ok what are the red freight cars in 00:14 on the steam engine???!?? i want some so badly i just dont know what they are called :(( please respond
I love this layout. I'm looking to build a new small layout, and I was wondering what size table is your n gauge layout is on, and if you could share the track plan.
Hi, many thanks for viewing my video Nick, however ,in this instance, this project is completed. No more room for additions, also another project in n gauge underway, when an 00 gauge project comes to conclusion, regards Ray.
