Listening to the other tapes and reading your Street Sheet story it seems to me to be symptomatic of the failures of the entire homeless program in SF. It is very obvious that Wayne is making up his retelling at this hearing of the initial meeting. The director talks about "the homeless" and "I didn't even know your name" because she has too many clients It is just so sad she is in a position of power.

The saddest thing is: I think she really enjoys the power that she has over the desperate people who stay at this shelter.
