there is nothing wrong with defending our faith, but we must continually remind ourselves that we are not to get riled up and let emotions lead us. We must love our enemy and be gentle in our correction as this passage says in hopes of the greater good that God may perhaps grant them repentance. I have had several long lasting debates and arguments in my very young walk, but I am beginning to learn that those arguments are not what change people. The Spirit softening hearts is what leads to....
repentance. With that in mind, I am now trying harder and harder each day to keep emotions to the side when I proceed to present what our Savior has done and just love the people that I am getting the sweet opportunity to share with. So as long as we keep this in mind I don't think there is a problem with "defending" our faith. It is when we cross the line and let emotions guide that we are not being obedient children of God. If you're a true Christian, no proof of Atheism should be enough to change you're belief in God. And most atheists seem to have a similar mindset. Comment battles change from defending to arguing and debating very quickly. And that's what I was seeing on these videos. Of course, I'm not sure what I would classify defending in a situation like this. Kinda a tricky subject.
