more tourists might help them another way of income. however, do these money go to their people? As a Thai, it's seems we are loosing the people called "Land of smile" to Myanmar.

I wouldlove to go to Myanmar, nobody to go with though, that's the problem. But one question, if people walk through the Bagan pagodas, any chance of being ambushed by tigers? Surely some dangerous animals must be out there. I wouldn't want to wander off.
