Although the browser is built into the phone, it uses minutes unless you have either the connect or premium plan from Verizon.

the keyboard being cramped isnt an issue if you just calibrate the touchscreen with the tip of a pen cover.

I use my friend's LG Dare and my other friends LG Voyager. You have to push down on the touch screen a lot harder than the Samsung Instinct.

PRIMARILY an in depth TEXTING review? using the QWERTY and the T9 versions. like with 2 hands and at a "normal" speed. if you know what i mean. because people have made crappy reviews of the texting at really slow speeds or with 1 hand. so if you could make a review of this then THANK YOU.

it depends on what kind of plan you have. if u have a premium plan, you get unlimited internet. or, if you get the v cast v pak for 15 bucks a month, u get unlimited internet. other then that, it $1.99/megabyte

cool  phone, except for the ticking sound in the ear and the spkr on the BACK of the phone... lame. But that prob could be fixed if they...

have the top of phone (camera/spkr portion) rotate 180 or 360 degrees to take advantage of the display's BRIGHT illumination, and see yourself on screen for self portrait or a vid. :D

I use my display light as an illuminator in my room in the dark.

This is the best that Verizon can do after an entire year to commission a competitive alternative to the iPhone? It doesn't even have multitouch? Sigh. It's not like I'm still stuck in a contract with Verizon since I stay with them for their network, but they rsally need to get their act together and either get a real alternative to the iPhone or find some way to get the iPhone on their network. Sure, the dare doesn't have some things that the iphone does, like capacitive touch and multitouch, but it DOES have some things the iPhone doesn't have, like 3.2mp camera and 120fps slow motion video recording. Verizon wasn't trying to beat the iphone, it was just trying to make a great touch screen phone.
