@HRMOKeefe1 Moss made many fatal mistakes, starting with taking the money in the first place. Even if he hadn't been a good samaritan to the Mexican, they still would've found him with the transponder.

He sinned at the outset. He could've saved himself by correcting his mistake as soon as possible, but the further he went, the more he tried to hang on to his mistake, the more damage he caused. Many people's lives would've been saved if he hadn't tried to hang on to that money.
