  • i love driving my 96! its just got the stock 5.9L but it straight piped after the cat, and has oversized mud tires, so it feels like im driving a 3/4 ton, but with the handling and fuel economy of a half ton :)

  • are those guages stock for the sst? or is it an sst?

  • Where did you get those gages?

  • be nice if that truck would really accelerate that fast instead of spinning on wet road

  • whats the song?

  • south texas deathride

  • what up grade u got thats pritty fast dude

  • bad tune or not that truck sounds NASTY! great vid man

  • Thanks. This engine will be pulled and probably parted out later this summer.

  • why would you do that

  • Because it'a POS that KRC Performace built, horribly I might add. Sounds mean, but my nearly stock 2000 Ram with a bone stock engine can outrun it. I think the biggest problems is TB size, they Effed up the head porting, and the cam is way too huge for street driven. Lotsa wasted parts and money. Ill never recover fully from that investment kick in the ass.

  • i was wondering where you got your hood for yours,,as ive been looking but the few i can find for our years are so ridiculously priced its not even funny...

  • It's a Reflexxions Domination Series Steel Cowl Induction hood. It prices around 550 I think. I bought this one back in 99 through a buddy at a body shop though for like 300 bucks lol. Most hoods are going to be about this or higher in price. Stock hood from dodge is about 850 so its not too bad really in comparison.

  • lol i just posted a comment on another vid of your asking about a computer mod with the cam :P dumb question i guess, i didnt realize you had the lightning killer package. Have you read up on the 426 small block stroker kit they make for the 5.2 and 5.9 now, its pretty nasty, i dont see how they can get so many cubes out of a small block :D

  • All has to do with where the wrist pin sets from the face of the piston, rod length, crank stroke, and deck height. Im sure the 426 requires alot of block relief to clear the rods and crank!! I'd be a bit worried about getting too severe of an angle between rod and piston though, especially since that has to be one really short piston and a really long stroke.

  • Bad tune or not, that truck sounds NICE.

  • i did that shit in my hemi tryin to pass i was doin 65 an fish tailed all over the road an look like a dumb ass

  • very impressive, fryin them tires at 70. haha

  • Guess the pavement being wet doesnt count does it LOL. Thanks for the props though!!

  • what mods do you have on your truck? It still amazes me. I can do that with my truck starting at around 30, but not like that. lol

  • KRC Performance 500 HP Lightning Killer package engine. It's only putting out 365 or so HP right now due to very poor tune, and possibly another problem I have not diagnosed yet. I have an SCT Tuner to try on the truck in the next week and see how much of it is tune related problem and if I need to dig deeper.

  • what song is that? nice truck

  • Union Underground - South Texas Deathride

  • sounds good inside, I bet it's real loud on the outside

  • lmfao, that didnt sound good
