Hope Sandoval got together with Colm O'Ciosoig to form Hope Sandoval & the Warm Inventions. The have released songs, the band Mazzy Star has not offically broken up. Today she lives in her home town LA. I grew up with Kendra Smith who was part of the band Opal. Hope replaced Kendra after she left Opal. Soon Mazzy Star was born in 1989

saw Mazzy many years ago - it was a hell of a show. The whole time guys kept crying hi hope, hey hope, i love you hope. look at the teenie boppers of the day - ie brittany and it makes sense why she has gone from the air waves. Some people want to make art and some people want to be poster cards.
