@BoeckmanOSU It's a lot simpler than that. You assume he is using a normal deck. Worst assumption you can make about a magician's deck. He inserted more than one queen in there. Then he flipped the cards too fast for the camera/eye to see the others and since the queen is present lots of times it stays up as an image (like a movie) for long enough for you to remember it. I thought it was quiet a cool trick :) . Took me by surprise until I thought about it.

Those are the only two that leave a distinct visual impression, so chances are the viewer would have pictured either one. He flipped the deck too fast for most people to remember the other cards.
