#1. Marines are first in, they take an objective, and hold it until relieved by the Army.
#2. The 1st Infantry FR was in Fallujah for a total of 4 days even though it says 7-25, they were relieved by the 9th. In that time alone they logged more EKIA's then the Army did from Nov 04 - Feb 05.

USMC sniper and marines, I'm pretty sure i know what marines are here for and do. I beleive in what they do more than anyone will ever know. I'm not stupid but sometimes it feels like i am the only one who does beleive in it. Its not just marines its everyone who gets shot at. (it is now considered unlikely that he actually had WMD)....the other reason for war was that Saddam was an evil man who killed his own people, so removing him would be liberation to the Iraqi people. Who would say no to removing an evil dictator?

Well Seagull calm down, because in some ways you are right. The only reason soldiers are falling more in the army is because the army is a much bigger force than the marines. Without the army the marines would be obsolete. Marines still take glory from the battlefield as well as many Soldiers. Marines are not much different than the Army other than some dates and traditions. Look at it this way there if your in the shit your all pretty much the same brother. Hoorah is for the Marines. I find it funny that theres people in here saying go Marines "hoorah?" it's oorah. Next, I've been a Marine coming up on 7 years, I'm not a recruiter, I'm embedded with the 1st Force Recon E Co.
#1. Marines are first in, they take an objective, and hold it until relieved by the Army.
#2. The 1st Infantry FR was in Fallujah for a total of 4 days even though it says 7-25, they were relieved by the 9th. In that time alone they logged more EKIA's then the Army did from Nov 04 - Feb 05.
