  • I might consider caring if black people didn't play into this streotype like a fucking fly to shit

  • If I had a dollar for every time a black comedian made fun of other ethnic groups I would be rich. Some people take things was too seriously, just let it go...

  • Why stupid amerifats so hyper-sensitive about race? Hope your cancer doesn't spread to glorious Corea ^__^

  • @captainghey Don't worry, Kim Jung IL jr., whitening cream and suicide will get to korea before cancer :-)

  • @backto1960 lmfaooooooo

  • its not the first time they said rude things towards blacks in kpop fact

  • Everyone defending them and the mistranslation, why don't you try and explain away the neck thing she does. I understand words being lost in translation. 0:24-0:33 I don't know who the hell you guys think she's trying to mimic other than black people. The media is to blame for all of this. They perpetuate stereotypes and foreigners like these girls have no real idea how black people really are. They probably never even seen one. I lived over in S. Korea in the late 90's so I know.

  • kkk-poop

  • The fact that the person subtitling the show thought that "gangster" was equivalent to "black" seems a bit prejudiced to me...

  • About the whole mistranslation thing, what ARE the two words for gangster and black person? Are they really that similar? If so, that is still pretty bad.

  • sunny made fun of the stereotype of super girly over-the-top-cuteness, while yuri did a gangster stereotype. it's a joke, lighten up a little.

  • People need to realize that this is a mistranslation- Kim Shinyoung says 'gangster' not 'black person'.

I get that everyone is jumping on the 'this is racist' bandwagon because of some article, but please get your facts straight.

  • i laugh not because she pretrend to be black people.. but because her style really suit to her and make it funny!

why people so sensitive about this?

  • Racist pieces of shit.

  • Are these generic ho's for real? These cunts got some damn nerve.

  • Why they always relate black people with violence or killer? Seungri did it before, now Yuri..

  • @noirs4m4 Seungri never said that. It was made up by antis.

  • @UZ3RN43M do you have solid evidence that it was made up by antis? (pure curiosity, not trying to be offensive). Like clarification, or articles? Because I read many source and some are from big media/credible blogs, so idk. It is said that it was his past belief anyway, and he has apologized in a radio show; so I hope he's not doing it anymore (being ignorant, that is).

  • @noirs4m4 Where is your sources? Give them to me.

  • @noirs4m4 high crime rate

  • SNSD members a so funny :D

  • I didnt find this offensive,.so im apparently a racist now lol

  • Comment removed

  • @purplemist411 Actually, the translation is right. Kim Shinyoung said black people, not gansters.

  • @purplemist411 *gangsters

  • Everyone... CALM DOWN. Lol.

  • Also, you guys shouldn't be TOO offended by the whole Yuri black thing. I'm Korean, but a bunch of black people came up to me and my Korean friends talking about China and fried rice and ching chong chang. So yeah, everyone's a little racist, and we just have to deal with it.

  • @TheRandomBassPlayer That doesn't make it okay. I'm not a little bit racist. I was raised better than that. Please speak only for yourself.

  • 0:06 - 0:09 is all you need.

  • I wouldn't of cared if she used any other word, but to say die, was really offensive. What do I carry a gun because I'm black? =(

  • I'm offended because Sunny was acting like a Japanese girl

    so racist grrr

  • Incredible seeing how K-Pop takes so much influence from black fashion and music.

  • @katofalltrades black fashion ???????

  • @katofalltrades

    Keep thinking that.

  • Wow, lost all respect. Anyone who believes that isnt racist is messed up.

  • @hurro92 Seriously. I bet if some african american girl group started mimicking them it'd be different. People wouldn't be saying relax. Have the black girls eating kimchi and bulgogi and rice, buckteeth and exaggerating their mannerism, there would definitely be problems. Make a joke about Korean men eating and being predisposed to kagogi. The first thing out of people's mouth would be "see, black people are the most racist". It's bullshit. People can dish it out but can't take it.

  • @WillGotti Bullshit. There would be ZERO outrage and you know it. For one your example isn't even offensive. Koreans eat kimchi just like Italians eat spaghetti. Finally and most importantly American blacks say and do racist things all the time and nobody calls them on their shit. For example this summer it was open season on white people(and I'll assume Asians too) in America when they entered the cross hairs of black "flash mobs". Nothing mentioned in the national news, only local.

  • @FatPigTheConqueror ZERO outrage? Are you kidding me? Now that's bullshit. There's outrage for racism period. Let us talk about Jews, we'd get skewered mercilessly for being anti-semetic even if we didn't mean it. Blacks get called out, believe me. If we do anything remotely racist people will be on our backs for being hypocrites and find millions of ways to call us out. My example was offensive because it's like people saying all blacks eat is chicken. Blame the media, not blacks.

  • @FatPigTheConqueror The media is the one that dictates how people think. They have us (races) going against each other. Tell me you haven't been influenced by the media's portrayal of another race and I'll send you a cookie.

  • @hurro92 Oh, fucking relax you overreacting baby. Nobody is forcing these black rappers to act like violent thugs. What do they expect people in other countries to think of them? I didn't think that was racist so I must be "messed up".

  • YOU DIE~

  • @Live4DreamMusic shut the fuck up, its racist now get your head out of your ass and leave.

  • this reminds me of a song

    "EVERYBODYS A LITTLE BIT RACIST~~~"

  • guys relax she meant how black people do :/

  • @flyyingteapot Wait! Black person means gangster. like that. And can't you see what Yuri is wearing? I don't want a fight.

  • Sry for posting two cause there was an error -.- IM NT SPAMMING HAHA :))

  • Um hello there .... yuris skin colour is darker than others so they call her black .. thats not racist and the remark is to sunny cause of her ccp kay get you fking facts rite before u comment

  • When they say black cause yuris skin colour is darker than others . It is not racist ...and when she say u die she meant to sunny cause of her cuteness that calls for a punch like seriously get all your facts right

  • Sunny's haha

  • Besides they do it all the time on Comedy Central, Family Guy, South Park, American Dad and etc. Like that one episode on Family Guy when Peter ran into Quagmires garage and then all of a sudden a bunch of Asian women came bursting out of his garage running away. Or the video called "Black kid wants money back from chinese lady" where hes making fun of the chinese lady. No one said anything about that.

  • dudee, we're asian.

    we're all racist. :D

  • Lmfao you guys need to calm your nips

For one,it's a mis translation. It should say "we have a gangster here"

I'm black and I didn't really find that offfensive

There are many black people that act like that

Unfortunately, the majority do (while some don't)

  • if you found that offensive, you're too f'ing sensitive. gtfoff the internet.

  • @llxzxll i'm not black and i was actually shocked when she said that. the comment is offensive and a bit racist. she may not be a racist..but yuri did make an insensitive remark. so you can't blame some ppl for being upset with what yuri said.

  • Comment removed

  • lol I'm not black. And if I was, it wouldn't make any difference.

  • @flyyingteapot seriously.. who cares. different ppl, different culture. are black ppl really not known to be gangsters and violent? whats the first thing that comes to your head? All In all its suppose to be a joke. Im sure mostly everyone found it funny. You cant call it being racist, its just embracing a culture in a comedy way. You wont think of something like Kung Fu first, that is in fact the stereotype for black people. Cry some more.

  • Gangs and violence aren't the first thing I think of when I think 'black person'.

"You can't call it being racist". I didn't. I called it slightly offensive. But if I did find it to be heavily racist, I would be allowed to say so. Would it be funny if somebody pulled their eyes into a squint and spoke gibberish Korean? "Cry some more"? Who's crying? I know it was in good spirits and that in Korean culture, people wouldn't think twice about it, but I find it a little offensive. Good bye! :)

  • @IareCoolerThanYou The video was mildly offensive. Excuses can be made for the participant's lack of contact with other cultures outside of popular media. Your comment, "are black ppl really not known to be gangsters and violent?", on the other hand IS racist. Unless you can plead the same ignorance.

  • LOL! Yuri unnie! DAEBAK!

  • It's not offensive even if the actual translation is apparently "gangster". Yes, black people went through a lot of discrimination but humanity needs to get rid of this black inferiority complex. Leave it in the past. Before blacks, it was whites & arabs that were enslaved a lot but jokes about us (I'm mixed) aren't offensive, huh? Craig Ferguson can make jokes about drunken scots & irishmen all day long but god forbid if he says anything about blacks. Grow some brains.

  • @StandingRedPanda that will never happpen

  • =))

  • Guys calm down! The actual translation is "there is a gangster here" not black. So keep these remarks about racism to yourselves.

  • Comment removed

  • @bdroney123 Uhhh, sorry to burst your bubble but she clearly says 흑인 있어... which means BLACK not GANGSTER

  • @bdroney123 no its they actually say black in all the translation's ive seen of this clip it said black

what next you're going to say taeyeon is not racist after she said black people are ugly

  • "If she's Japanese, there's also a black person here"

Dude, you can't say things like that on television programs. I'm not black but i found it offensive...

  • @flyyingteapot who exist in this world that do not stereotype/make racist comments? You guys should relax a little bit and look at the picture in a different perspective. The comment were meant to be comedic, hence not to be taken seriously. Otherwise, how do you think comedian like Russel Peter became famous?

  • Yo~ You Die!!!

    no further explanation needed ;D

  • @flyyingteapot oh the point is yuri is known to be the black pearl of snsd, that's why they were talking like that. I'm so sorry if you feel offensive...

  • i think that was translating error, me and my omma are watching this, and she said that wat the lady actually said was there is only one gangster here.....

  • Kub Yul

  • Seriously, people who find this offensive need to lighten up. So black people are synonymous with violence in America. It's nobody's fault but their own, and it's about time people stop tip-toeing past black people just to be "politically correct." If the impression was making fun of white people for something, say, being fat, nobody would have said a word.

  • @thatbafguy i totally agree. people need to lighten up. i mean i get why people would get offended but nowadays people make fun of every race. not saying that doing that is right but there is always a boundary between comedy and hurtful comments. thats just how the world works now. if people have a problem with it then they can take it up with the world and try to do something about it and not just complain.

  • @thatbafguy I agree with that. Like at school, black people with say "Oh, Look at that white cracker" and make remarks like that. However when a white person even mentions the word black in front of an African American, they go balistic. It's ridiculous. SNSD FTW!!!! Sunny is my favorite =D!

  • i think this clip will have a lot more views if you correct the mistake in your title.

    its invincible not invisible

  • i miss SunRi ... :((

  • Love Yuri but that was offensive. How sad! The first thing she thinks of when imitating African-Americans is and act of violence. Of course I forgive her because she doesn't live in the U.S. and doesn't understand racism.

  • @sophmore90 i think part of the reason why she said "die" was cause of sunny.....lol not ALL koreans think that african americans are violent people. haha

  • LOL yuri i love you! and thank you for doing that. sunny shut up! haha jkjk

  • Yuri is known as the black pearl because of her dark skin.

  • @studystrike lol k there

  • Yuiri ah~~~~ ;-*

  • "WHY ARE WE GOING TO DIE?" XDDDDDD

  • she's so beautiful...

  • @silleyka lol just stop it

  • Hilarious! LOL

  • I mean I know that Korea is widely known as one of the most xenophobic and unintentionally racist countries....but it still iriitates me. Not hating on SNSD or whatever but yeah. Not right...
