Watch any other Murray fight and he takes his helmet off. The only reason he didn't here is because the Clifford rushed him after a clean hit on Richardson, so he didn't have a chance to take it off. I'm sick of dudes like Clifford starting crap after perfectly clean hits. The best part of the whole clip is when Clifford charges Murray after the hit and bounces off (like every other fool that tries to hit him). Murray's an absolute stud, bottom line.

Well normally he doesn't, but that is no fault of Murray. He's opponents usually tries to hit Murray while he tries to remove his helmet. I personally call that much cheaper than wearing the visor. Once Murray tried to remove his helmet twice and the opponent threw two punches at him.

why are they showing a slowmo of ap unch that missed?..........Even though he's massive, Murray really isn't a fighter nor is he as good at it as sharks fans like to think. I'm not knocking him but to say "he's one of the best fighters in the league" is pretty ridiculous if u think about it. Same with Byfuglien (though murray is better at fighting than he is for sure).

@buttkick22 Haha I'm a Sharks fan and love Murray but I do agree. He is not a fighter he just has the size advantage on everyone except like Chara.  Every fight he gets in, he just drags around the other guy and calmly lays him on the ice. Clifford is a much better fighter which is why he was able to hold his own against Murray...'s size. Though to be fair, you could tell Murray was tired and near the end of a shift.

Either way I was just agreeing that people saying he's one of the best fighters in the league are delusional. Be a fan, but keep a grip on reality. That being said, Go Sharks, and Murray, keep doing what you do best: being both an unstoppable force and an immovable object.

I think they gave him 5 for fighting, 2 instigating/wearing a visor, 2 extra for roughing (he came up swinging after linesmen stepped in), 10 for game misconduct. Technically everything is true, but really all he did was step in to help Murray who was getting cornered by two Kings.
