  • How do you plan on weaning him off? I only ask since the older they get the harder it can be (so I hear). :)

  • How did you feel when you had your first breast fed?I mean physically.

  • @handsome223 exhausted

  • @xxxjoelpolexxx oh,But when GF delivered her baby she told me that she was feeling much better whe she breast fed her milk (means relieved) as breasts were paining because of milk.

  • Tits

  • nothing is seen.....

  • i love boob

  • It is nice not to worry about not having enough! Lol. My son doesn't take bottles either... Even the slow nipples were too fast for him. Idk how I would go about donating it though?

  • @dangshayna try looking up Mother's Milk Bank and contacting them. They'll do a phone screening and test your milk (at no expense to you)

  • Weellll that must be my case then! Lol but he's been doing that since he was born.

  • @dangshayna Very well could be. It's one of the nicer problems to have...you know you have LOTS of milk :) I use to have to take off my son and let it drain into a bottle, once it stopped running like a faucet turned on, I'd latch him back on, & donate the extra milk to Mother's Milk Bank. (He didn't take bottles).

  • Well sometimes I don't have to burp him. But when he's feeding, I can hear him swallowing tons of air! Lol I don't know why he does it. Once he gets a lot of air in him he just wiggles around and doesn't really nurse too well. So then I have to remove him to burp. My son doesn't fuss either. Even when he's swallowed all that air lol. I love breastfeeding. SOOO many pros to it! :))

  • @dangshayna Awwww! Both my kids did that the first 2-4 months from my having an over-active letdown.

  • You tell him girl! Beasts are not there for sexual intentions... They are there for the well being of your children.

Your son is too cute btw :P

I wonder how my son will be in a few months, he's already starting to freak out when I take him off to burp him lol. He's only 2 1/2 months. :)

Check out my vid of him tootin! :P it's my only YT vid lol

  • @dangshayna Awww! Yah we just did away w/ the burping our children when they nursed..it's not like bottles, they don't really get air when they nurse and what air they did get they burped out on their own, (was never fussy) otherwise I'm sure he'd have freaked out too trying to get back on it. lol

  • note , breasts aren't there for sexual intention, for the kid yes, adults yes. You have to remember the serve dual roles in the right context. To say they never were intended for sexual purposes would be pure dismissal and denial on the woman's part. Esp - if you have a husband of bf that goes after them all the time and you enjoy the attention :p

  • It's weird if women are still breastfeeding after there infants start growing teeth- that should be considered incest & your children are going to think something is wrong with you for breast feeding them for too long. Even boys gotta grow up at some point & get off there mom's tit in order to jump on the next woman's tit & start making grandkids.

  • @zeromethod1337 Some babies are born w/ teeth. Some get teeth at 2 months. It all varies from child to child. My daughter cut her 1st tooth at 5 months, and my son at 4 months. AAP suggest you feed your infant a MINIMUM of 12 months, preferred 24 months. Before my daughter ever turned 12 months she had 13 teeth...My son had 8 or 10. Breast are there to feed their young, more nutrional needs than anything else can come close to. Breast were created to feed women's off spring. Not sexual "needs"

  • @zeromethod1337 Your comment is very immature and ignorant.

  • Dang he must've been starving! XD

  • @RangerStarlight777 he thinks he was

  • Hes such a wiggler! LOL this is so awesome, Good Job mamma. Im wondering if you have any advice. My husband and i are really wanting to have our babies close in age. My son is only 3 1/2 months old and we would like to start trying in a few months, I know its soon:). But im still nursing obviously and would like to nurse him as long as possible but would also like to get my cycle back. Do you remember how long it took you to get your cycle back with both kiddies. Thanks and take care!

  • @ginaginadr Oh gosh yes, he is even more so now at 13 months! It took 5/6 months my 1st time to get my cycle, and it took 8/9 months the 2nd time to get my cycle back.

  • I nursed my daughter for 13monhts very worthit!

  • Since breastfeed is so time consuming, how do you care for your other child(ren)? i always ask breastfeeding mothers that, and they ignore it.

  • @Nine00 Multitasking! With the help of others. You make do. You figure out what works best depending on the situation.

  • lol that cracks me up! kanton gets all excited and sounds funny too. IT's like booby booby booby!!!

  • So sweet <3

  • So sweet <3

  • He's soo cute! My son stopped nursing at 5 months....he would fuss, cry, and scream. I'm not sure why, so I continue to pump and give it to him in a bottle. The only time he'll nurse is when he wakes up in the middle of the night. Did you ever run into this problem?

  • Its hard to believe your little man will be one so soon! Oh my gosh Lucy I remember the video of you and Joel talking about when you would want to t.t.c. again. And then all the vlogs with the ovulation sticks, ect. That seems like yesterday. i can't believe how short life can be when you look back and see how far you've come in life.

  • I know, it's insane! I'm hoping by the time he's 1.5 we'll have the rest of our ducks lined up (getting a new car, new bedroom furniture, etc) so we can start TTC #3)

  • Wow! Really? #3? That is great! I kind of thought you didn't want to have any more kids. Go for it girl! Your a great family. I can't wait for TTC #3 videos. We are waiting for our third child to be born any day now! In fact I'm overdue.

Both my kids nursed til they were 22 months and 21 months. I loved it. Can't wait for nursing all over again with the new one!

  • Joel & I both want a larger family, there is no question there. Money is what stops us :( Joel as of right now is "content" w/ 2, as well as am I should this be all the Lord blesses us with is our 1 little boy & 1 little girl. But yes my heart longs for another pitty patter across the house again one day. I just love pregnancy/childbirth & being a SAHM Mom TOO much! THIS is my American Dream...being a Mommy.

  • The 2nd part to my comment isn't posting, UGH YT hates me sometimes, ha

  • Okay, long story short, labor dust ur way, let me know how it is w/ 3 vs 2, like which transition was harder, and I envy your shoes currently ;)

  • I'll let you know. I want to upload something after the baby is born so watch for that. We are planning a home water birth and I pray all goes well so that dream comes true. Best of love your way because I too LOVE being a stay at home mom. Glad we have much in common. Keep posting Jace's learning progress, you've given me ideas. My daughter loves the alphabet song you posted Jace singing awhile back!

  • omg did u convince joel to have a third child

  • He's always wanted more....we just can't afford more right now. Few things that we need to do first before having another.

  • It's great that you're still going strong! By the way I love your long hair :)

  • hahah too cute! Thats so funny how he acts when he's hungry!

  • LOL! Gigi inspects mine too! That is hilarious....I just found out I'm expecting #2~!!! OMG, so excited!

  • CONGRATULATIONS!

  • Hehe.. thats so funny!

  • My son loves his boobies too. If he wants them, he will do anything to get them! He's just about 14months old.

I usually feed him lying down, I love my special cuddles with him.

  • LMFAO!!!!!!!!!! thats so funny

  • A couple weeks away from making it to 9 months BF for us too! My daughter kinda' laughs all excitedly like Kacen right before I 'bust it out' too. HAHA! My little girl doesn't seem like she is ready to stop anytime soon either. I am hoping to make it 1.5 yrs but if she weans herself that is ok too. Good to see that Kacen is still BFing too!

  • Aw so cute! Congrats on making it this far breastfeeding!!

  • Haha... I thought my son just did those crazy things!!! He does the same thing when he's hungry.. it's like an uncontrollable whine.. like come on Please I'm hungry mommy!! My son also does the crazy moving around thing... it's funny cuz he's SO serious when he does it and I look at him and say What are you doing silly.. and then he unlatches and laughs.

  • he's a breastfeeding fan that's good, my mom feed me for long time when i was a little girl but now im pregnant i think we have to watch our diet and hope i can do breastfeed my future baby im 36 weeks pregnant.....

  • same thing Raegan does SOOO FUNNY

  • LOL. My daughter does the exact thing. It's like she absolutely "cannot" wait to get the boob. lol. My goal is to go for 1 yr too. I was so surprised how fast we flew over the 6th month mark. Leah does not seem to want to stop any time soon. When she has her solids...it's just the appetizer to the main course...me. haha.

  • LOL. Too cute/funny. Congrats on passing the 9 month mark!

My ten month old daughter tends to claw, scratch and pull at my shirt(and sometimes skin...Oweee.) when she wants to eat.

  • O goodness I am glad I am not the only one with a child that will not nurse in a "normal" position!

My 8.5 month old squirms, and twists and rolls the whole time he is nursing!!

I swear he is prolly the only child that enjoys nursing while laying on his stomach.

  • Hahaha. Kacen almost ALWAYS prefers to have his stomach to mine while nursing. I'll turn him time after time after time and he'll get back on his tummy.

  • The magic boobies! That's what we call them. My son is 10 months old and is exclusively breastfed (minus solids). I nursed my other two kids up to 20 months and 22 months when they self weaned. I love nursing.

  • How do you deal with "Nursing Olympics"?

  • So long as it's not hurting me really bad I allow it...if not it seems like I spend more time fighting him to stay still and not move and he'll quit nursing sooner. I've noticed that if we're in a quiet room, free of distraction he usually won't do that.

  • what an inspiration! :) My daughter will be 4 months on the 7th & feel so proud that I have been able to make it this far!! :) I hope to continue till atleast 1 year as well. I always use my cover when we are out but if I didn't have it, I dont think I would have a problem going without it. Just curious if you have any advice for traveling by plane? Or if anyone does? We're heading to Houston next thursday first time with a new baby and me Nursing. :):)

  • U should ask JeniProkop they've been on a plan if I'm not mistaken and they nurse as well. You should feel proud for making it to 4 months. Most Moms at that point are starting to give up, so congrats to you! I wear my shield if I have on 1 shirt (which I pull down from the top to not expose my stomach. But if I have 2 shirts, I pull the bottom one down and hte top one up and I don't use a cover.

  • Yay for nursing- you are giving your son so many incredible health-gifts through breast milk, despite all the looks and comments. Before my son, I never realized how difficult the logistics of nursing can be, but we are still going strong at 10 months. Thanks for putting yourself out there to the public to help educate folks about the importance of breast feeding. As a medical student, I recommend your channel to lots of new mom patients. Thanks for sharing your life with the world.

  • LOL!

Love it!!! He is so cute!

The necklace is cute!!! I tired wearing some longer ones simular to see if Deacon would be inerested in it and well... sorta... but he is all about my hair. He will do the 'olympics' thing until he finds it... even if its up... I can imagine his wife having long hair or something!

  • I wonder if the hair thing is a boy thing? I didn't chop off my hair until 2 years ago. I've always had really long hair... and for the first 5 or 6 years of our relationship Joel fiddled my hair as he fell asleep or when ever he was sitting next to me out of comfort I suppose.

  • It was soooo funny yet informative at the same time he was hungry !!LOL thanks for sharing ..continueto being a good mommy and bonding with your baby!!!

  • My first son nursed til 18 months..he'd stand up nurse, jump up and down while nursing...they're characters! lol...now my 4 month old is going strong...he'd rather starve than have anything but my boob! How long are you gonna continue nursing you're little man? To all nursing mommys.... ignore the looks & negative comments, your body, your child, it's natural. God gave us breasts for a reason, stay strong! =)

  • I plan on nursing till HE is done, when ever that might be. I have set my self w/ small goals as to not feel let down if I don't achieve the big one. His Dr would prefer we nurse till 18 months. So that is my big goal! I'd personally love to go to 24 months. After that it's up to him.

  • Lol so cute!

  • wow! 9.5 months old already! i can't believe it! he's adorable!

  • My daughter does the same thing! hahaha! She pulled my shirt and bra DOWN in Walmart the other day....Yeah, embarrasing!!

  • haha he can't get my bra down....luckily enough or my boobs would ALWAYS be out. If he has access to them he's eating or inspecting the nipple. ha Jacelyn on the other hand who I had stopped nursing by this point likes to yell out BOOBIES when I'm getting ready to feed Kacen in public.

  • Congrats Lucy! That's awesome!!

  • I hope with my disability I can nurse my next one.

  • I can't wait to try with my next one :) hoping I can with my cerebral palsy.

  • I can't wait to try with my next one :)

  • I can not even believe i have known you since you were TTC Kacen and now the little bugga is almost 1!!!! How is that even possible? Where is time going these days???

  • I know right?!?!?! I was thinking the same thing!

  • Aww, lol my daughter does "the nrsing olympics" when's she tfighting he sleep . too cuteeee!

  • haha Kacen does too, that or all of a sudden he stars the Tarzan move on my chest and beats me.

  • i wish i could still nurse:( i dryed up due to the fact of me being shy around my parents bc i was staying with them the first few months...wish i could have lasted longer. im so happy for you!

  • With my daughter...I had a MUCH harder time feeling comfortable nursing around people I knew, especially family, verses complete strangers. I think it was more so b/c of how I was brought up and I cared more about what people I knew though....blah blah blah, etc. I hope you have better luck w/ your next (if there is a next) like I did w/ my son :)

  • awe i really wish i could have breastfed my daughter hopefully with my next chld a long time from now i will get the chance

  • lol omg that so funny...my 9 month old daughter does thesame thing...i know right i can't believe i'm still breastfeeding...

  • CONGRATS TO YOU TO THEN! :) Such a rewarding feeling.

  • thank you....i know it's such a wonderful bond you create with your child...i also want to thank you for being such an inspiration....watching you nurse your son encourages me to keep nursing my daughter...

  • Thank you for being so open about nursing. People need to see this. I hate the looks I get if I don't use my nursing cover (and even the ones I get when I DO use my cover). Breasts were made to nourish our babies!

  • I think I'm so open about it now b/c of the horrible experiences I had w/ my daughter and nursing her. I'd wish that apon no one....It's natural. Luckily w/ my son I haven't ran into any real problems, but Lord hep the person that does ever say anything to me. They'd get an ear full needless to say.
