  • one word, beautiful

  • Nice pickin. like the cam angle, fun to watch :)

  • nice job great cam work !!

  • man that was killer

  • This made me cry = | keep it up man it's damn brilliant

  • What is your tuning there?

  • DADF#AD

  • Thank you sir. I have been trying to get some new slide tuning. Sounds good.

  • @ardentoctopus nice!!

  • By far, my favorite by you

  • fantastic!

  • Awesome. Do you have a CD available?

  • Oh Lord, Mr.Waters would be so proud! Smokin Hot dude!

Thx, again, and more plz, again.

  • what did u use to raise your strings

  • Called a raised nut (not a medical problem) slips under the strings with no other modifications. A decent music store should have it. Turns any guitar in to a DOBRO or like a lap steel.

  • I'd like too see some instructional video from you.

    teach us your way man!

    loved it

  • whats the tuning on that?

  • DADF#AD

  • right when i thought i was getting good at the slide. Thanks Arden Ur a dick. LOL good job man thats wicked

  • This is hot man! I don't play so this may sound like a stupid question. What size strings you got on that thing?

  • .013 Martin strings,

    Thanks

  • fuk that´s great

  • Blues Fusion

    ...

  • your the mac

  • ok first, you need more vids. good stuff. second i have a nylon acoustic and i was wondering if it is possible to do this on nylon and sound as fuckin awesome as yours. i'm a bass player, so i dont know what can and will work on what guitar since i never play the one (nylon acoustic) i have.

  • no, nylon won't work.

  • oh, damn. but thanks. now i know.

  • hey... could i request a frontside angle for the next one? or maybe one in the future... just wanna see how it looks from that angle =)

  • Did you add some kind of echo effect? Sounds like a stadium or something. Anywho, great job..once again. Keep em' comin'!

  • I could not get both channels to work in movie maker so I looped the one channel from head phone to guitar input on the m-audio and recorded it with n-track, once it was in n-track i did ad a touch of reverb then I had to sync it back with the video.

  • That... Sounds....AwSome, just like the other 2 :D

Can't wait to see number 4 ;) keep up the good bluesing :P

  • O god, I want to be your guitar!

  • Oh, I should have been watching you! I've been waiting for this, man. I love your works. It's so calming to me. Great job.

  • good stuff bro

  • i am like wow how do u do the frets cuz i'm like wow...Just kidding, no seriously how do you do the frets? : )

  • Awesome playing man ;)

  • It's pretty basic.. I just tie the camera on with a piece of wire... Next time I set up Ill take some still shots and put them up on Flickr

    Thanks

  • Loved it, man! It was brilliant.

  • ur amazing!! hurry up and post some more slide videos, and the head cam instead of the guitar cam is a pretty cool idea 2.

  • Oh, very cool idea man! And nice playing too. Maybe you try like a head cam or something so we can get the view from your eye. either way, way cool.

  • Guitarcam..What a clever concept. It reminds me of when Letterman was on NBC and had all those wacky cams. You play well.

  • I used to love that, ya know that may have contributed to the idea. I work with a Bass player that plays stand up and hope to do the Bass cam soon for that extra long view.

    Thanks

  • great slide. thanks

  • Please keep the videos coming arden, your very talented and i enjoy your work. Maybe post somethign without the slide? Just a thought. Thanks for the vids.

  • Damn! That's some great playing!

  • Awesome dude! 5 stars

  • Great man! Thanks for posting more. Keep em coming

  • how old are u man? cuz i thought i was the only one my age that gave a shit about muddy waters and the blues

  • Hey it's great to see, It was not what was most popular 21 years ago when I was your age either but I think there will always be new fans of blues. Great music Knows no age.

  • If you like slide playing, check out the 'Paris Texas' film soundtrack with Ry Cooder playing (1980s). Even better, watch the film. Not strictly blues, but it's got the feel.

  • I may rent it... I can handle not being as good as Ry Cooder.

  • please, don't stop! :)

  • good song choice. muddy waters was awesome.

  • wow great 'feeling' - you captured that 'feeling' on camera. is the tuning in the key of D?

  • YES... DADF#AD

    Thanks

  • Is that tape you have on your fingertips? (not the thumbpick)

  • Those are metal finger picks, DUNLOP .25... I did not know that until you asked and I looked.

    Thanks

  • new video huh. keep up the work man

  • Good video. Great audio. I still want you on one of my recordings, Steve. - RV

  • good dood...thing is i hate the featured one but your other ones are amazing

  • Thank you for coming back...

  • That is so sweet man! I love the view and your talent. Keep bringin it!

  • I first heard this using some cheesy speakers, I went and got some Klipsch speakers, It was worth it. Great slide!!

  • Thanks, I recorded the sound with n-track studio and an audio technica mike rather then just into win Movie maker like on the other two, then sync'd the sound back to the video. I appreciate you noticing the quality, I figured my playing ain't getting any better, I better do somthing.

  • I have a friend who plays slide, u remind me of him. Good stuff!

  • GREAT!

  • Goddamn MAN! Blown away brother! Great job! How about a slide rendition of "Hoochie Coochie Man?" Great sound man, I can't say it enough.

  • That would e fun, I'm planning Elmore James first.

    Thank you

  • wonderful!!! love the camerea angle and the tune!

  • I like the music you play, and then this unusual camera angle makes it even better.

  • P.S

I always wanted to learn how to play the guitar, this is another bit inspiration why.. eventhough i'm nearing age 21 now..

  • Do it... it will be with you for the rest of your life. I have had students start at 60 and learn.

  • Don't wait Magic. Start tomorrow or you'll get up some day and it'll be too late.

  • Thnx for the support guys :)

  • I did a good thing subscribing to you my friend, i loved it!

  • I didn't really feel like he was able to pull this song together into a whole coherent idea. He played the notes he wanted to play well though.

  • You are really great, I love the blues esp the slide stuff.

  • Wow again! Thats 3 for the album eh. Steve, you need to do the CD thing. I really like your music, and the way you play. I am a music freak, an artist, DJ, and harp player...please, please make me a CD. I will send the money first with shipping costs. :0)
