So no. There is no more Midnight Sun. She will not have it published. Sucks. It only takes one airhead to ruin it for the rest of us. Originally, Midnight Sun was just supposed to be Edward's point of view during Twilight. But now we'll never know. :(

To be honest... I would absolutely love Midnight Sun as a book (I want to know Edward's side and I was sad when she stopped writing it), but another movie... I don't think so. The other actors don't want to make another Twilight movie anyway, and if they made some other movie with different actors than the original it wouldn't work. I love Twilight, but I think the movie needs to end the way Stephenie originally intended.
ok, there needs to be some romance with Renesme and Jacob, but what about Seth and Leah? They were loyal to the Cullens, and they have yet to be with anyone of their own. I would like to see how Edward and Bella deal with being parents and how Bella deal with her new life as a vampire...a new struggle can arise from all of this involving the volturi and perhaps a struggle in keeping Jacob and Renesme together due to the volturi interference....but a love story between Edward and Bella should always exist...just include a new love story of Jacob and Renesme ...
it would be interesting to show how bellas life would be like if edward had stayed in italy in new moon and just to show us team jacob fans how it would've been if bella and jacob would have ended up together instead :) or with renesmee growing up having the cullens in it raising teaching her their ways or also showing her relationship with jacob grow in the spinoff series how stephanie meyer was thinking of doing :))

When Twilight was in production they used the parts of Midnight Sun that had been written (and consulted Stephenie herself for what hadn't been written) in order to include parts of Edward's point of view for a fuller movie originally. Obviously it wasn't changed significantly, but I have read in several places that it was used.

Jacob black is based of author stephanie Myers brother Jacob who like Jacob black likes cars. Twilight is not only about the present it also has seven characters that they would dig into to make a new movie. Each character has a past so seeing how they got together would be interesting.
a.Sirius Black was introduced in 1997 (when the first HP book came out). In HP3, they admitted that he was a MOTORCYCLE RIDING WEREWOLF. Sound familiar? Jacob Black who was introduced in 2005 is also a motorcycle riding werewolf :/ hmmm

@cooIstorybabe I have read Breaking Dawn and not much happens after Renesmee's birth. Summing up the rest of the book could take only an 1 hr or so. seeing that BDP1 was only 1 hr and 30 minutes, by squeezing BD into 1 film it'd be a 2 hr and 30 minute film which is the average Potter/James Cameron movie. I doubt people would mind sitting through all of that. DH was a very complex book and unlike the others, all parts were needed. both parts were 2hrs and 30 minutes.

I would absolutely love, love, love to have a brand new story/saga about Renesmee's life and how she grows up. I've always thought of the fact of her and Jacob getting married and possibly having a child. There could always be a similar triangle between Jacob/Renesmee/Nahuel also. That would be the only scenario that would make the most sense.

To be honest... I would absolutely love Midnight Sun as a book (I want to know Edward's side and I was sad when she stopped writing it), but another movie... I don't think so. The other actors don't want to make another Twilight movie anyway, and if they made some other movie with different actors than the original it wouldn't work. I love Twilight, but I think the movie needs to end the way Stephenie originally intended.

ok, there needs to be some romance with Renesme and Jacob, but what about Seth and Leah? They were loyal to the Cullens, and they have yet to be with anyone of their own. Also, I'd love to see maybe the human characters come back and interact one last time, to see Bella all hot and sexy- imagine the look on their faces! There must be the threat of a REAL werewolf in the area, not the Shape-Shifting Quilautes, and there needs to be a spin on the vintage werewolf lore- no old tricks!

When Twilight was in production they used the parts of Midnight Sun that had been written (and consulted Stephenie herself for what hadn't been written) in order to include parts of Edward's point of view for a fuller movie originally. Obviously it wasn't changed significantly, but I have read in several places that it was used.

I would be interested in seeing a sixth movie. Hopefully if there is one, it'll be about Midnight Sun, told in Edward's POV. If not that, then maybe the Volturi comes back and tries to get rid of the Cullens. And, as for the whole "Twilight-copied-HP" argument, besides the last book being split into two movies, I see no other copying going on. Those who say otherwise need to move on already. >.<

Jacob black is based of author stephanie Myers brother Jacob who like Jacob black likes cars. Twilight is not only about the present it also has seven characters that they would dig into to make a new movie. Each character has a past so seeing how they got together would be interesting.

I mean, Voldemort is dead, the Death Eaters vanished. What else is there to write about? Same goes for Twilight. James, Victoria, and Laurent are dead. The werewolves and Volturi will no longer interfere with the Cullens. What else is there to write about? Twilight 5: Jasper buys a sweater?

@cooIstorybabe I have read Breaking Dawn and not much happens after Renesmee's birth. Summing up the rest of the book could take only an 1 hr or so. seeing that BDP1 was only 1 hr and 30 minutes, by squeezing BD into 1 film it'd be a 2 hr and 30 minute film which is the average Potter/James Cameron movie. I doubt people would mind sitting through all of that. DH was a very complex book and unlike the others, all parts were needed. both parts were 2hrs and 30 minutes.

I hope they do because i hated the Breaking Dawn book ending :/ also, IDK why BDP1 did so bad on Rotten Tomatoes. It was a tad bit rushed, yes, but the overall movie was pretty good :)

I would absolutely love, love, love to have a brand new story/saga about Renesmee's life and how she grows up. I've always thought of the fact of her and Jacob getting married and possibly having a child. There could always be a similar triangle between Jacob/Renesmee/Nahuel also. That would be the only scenario that would make the most sense.
