you need to explain the cords more like the fisrt one u have 2 fingers on the bottom 2 strings and u mute the top cord then u mute the next one two then for the next cord u still have ur two fingers on the bottom 2 and u just mute the first string in the next thing it still sounds the same as i did it before

don't just look at the cords, you have to listen to the sound of the chords to because some of those cords are wrong the way you are playing it

@billiewilly121 is pretty simple, just strum the top four strings then strum the bottom 4 strings 2 - 4 times in a down up alternating patern, depending on preference or part of the song as long as it sounds right., you'll get it.

@r8m3n a good way to mute a string is by placing part of your palm over the string you want to mute with your strumming hand or use an extra un-used finger to stop the string from vibrating

@TrioPiano just have to put your finger on the string you want to mute but dont push down too much or it will make the noise. you want to :mute: the string so you just have to put a finger on it to make it not make a noise when you strum :)

So using the finger that you would actually play the note with you instead only press it down halfway so the string isn't touching teh fingerboard with. Yeah I really didn't know either...I just found out too so you are not alone and it isn't a dumb question!

you just have to rest the finger on the string a bit, you dont really have to press down half way, just rest it on the string. it's not a stupid question, if your on a video that teaches you how to play something why not ask how to do something while your at it.
