please note some American dancers have given this move the name "omi".

it is no arab word, and Arab and other oriental women have for centuries refused to "theoretize" the dance to something technical and sterile.. while I see it can help beginners to use denominations, I do not like the damage it does to the mentality and spirit of the dance, which is improvisational and free at the root.
