  • Louie Anderson's half brother Mark, everybody :)

  • should of poured it into an espresso shot so we could see the finish

  • Thanks Mark! Before seeing this clip my foam was horrible! Now i got it ! :) Keep on !

  • what kind of milk is perfekt?

  • Thank you, I had blamed my espresso machine, not I know what I've done wrong.

  • The only reason why having a cold jug helps with steaming is that it gives you more time.

If the milk isn't cold it heats up quicker giving you less time incorporating the air then getting the milk spinning.

I don't bother putting the jug in the freezer and just pour in chilled milk and steam away.

Too many people put too much thought into why the milk isn't steaming properly when it's actually just their technique that's wrong.

  • Thank you to show this:)

I work since a week in a coffee shop and never worked before in a coffeeshop.

And my new boss has no patience to teach me it:(

So its nice to see how I have to do it!

  • Thanks, Mark!!!

  • Very awesome explanation. Thanks!

  • Thanks for the video. Do you have any recommendations on the kind of milk to use?

  • @pdvelez Hi there, I work at a cafe in town, and I always find that when steaming milk, very cold skim milk in a very cold pitcher works best. No one ever can tell the difference, and it's healthier anyway! I can't find the reason behind why it works so well, but it does, for me and mostly anyone else I know. It may have something to do with how the fat in 'normal' milk is heavier. However I'm not so sure on that.

  • Wow am so happy thanks man! Finally a channel for coffee! How didn't I found you all those years! Subscribed! Thanks.

  • thanks so much for the video.I really appreciate it .now I'm off to practice this!

  • about to get a latte/cappuccino machine and needed the tutorial! thanks!

  • this was good info, thanks, lol I need practice

  • @w1shEX Try getting a larger frothing picture. Also you may want to make sure that your wand is submerged in the milk. Some times people do not have the wand far enough into the milk which causes milk to spray everywhere.

  • Wish my silvia had that kinda steam power!

  • Thanks Mark 
