No other music group in history will have a greater cultural impact or overall world-wide success as The Beatles. Sometimes, I may even think that the band's decision to split up in 1970 was "unfortunately" necessary at the time because (from my perspective) if it never happened, The Beatles could have eventually fallen into that infamous category of "they're not as good as they were before". Besides, John, Paul, George, & Ringo all went on to have marvelous solo careers. "Fab4" always #1. (8^)
