So because you can simply use this program to obtain a password on any computer with a USB port or CD/DVD drive...then yes...it is hacking.

@Danph77 But if you would want that to work you need to get in to his/hers bios. Some people have passwords to bios. You would not be able to enter the new settings. What do you do then`?

@xXg3eksquadXx - Well there are ways to do it without using the computer through the BIOS are using NET but it is something that is too complex to explain simply. You are on the computer now. Your best bet...is to download this program and put it on a DVD or USB drive and then you can put it in turn the computer on and the RAINBOW Tables will BRUTE F the password and show you what it is. Then you can just write it down on paper. That is what I would do.

Depends on the encryption. It cannot hack "any" password...but can crack most. You would need more complicated rainbow tables to crack detailed passwords.

Of course, what else do you think it is? It brute hacks using rainbow tables, that is an exploit that will be picked up and labeled that way on anti virus scanners. Ophcrack is proven; unlike most run of the mill programs.
