this reminds me of when i had surgery it was SO scared but the super nice doctors helped me throw it I had a few areas of skin removed from the roof of meh head =)
no gore no blood,NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing went right after my open-heart surgery... the first thing that happened was my IV slipped out of the vein and into my skin (but that wasn't discovered until it was removed), so I was in a lot of pain when they flushed it! The second thing is I had to wear a small blood pressure cuff because they were out of large ones! And... it's safe to assume what happened with the drainage tubes. The meter fell over and it had to be changed. Not the tubes, the meter.
the hospital where i go for my surgeries and stuff they don't allow parents in the first recovery area the area where you go to wake up, but they move you a little later after you wake up to recovery area 2 where parents are allowed. and is regulation that you are wheeled in a wheelchair out to your car(usually your mom or dad will do this)
I remember my open heart surgery a few months ago... it was scary! I was sooo scared in that O.R., I guess it was because I knew exactly what they were going to do to me...
when i had to stay over night once, i had this roomate named mikey and we both woke up at 7 and neither of our parents stayed so we ran around the halls, scared the crap out of our nurses, and made every other kid laugh Mission Complete much?
I had brain surgery there 4 times. I had a Brain Bleed when I was 10 and went blind and paralyzed but now I can see and walk again Im even back to playing sports. I am glad for what they did for me over there.
I had an open heart surgery for a valve replacement for a bigger one because the one before that was wore out was too small, I had it done at Children Hospital of Michigan in Detroit,Mi, I was asleep when the nurse took me to the operating room and didn't wake up until like around 2am on the next day of Stepember 12th 08. The nurse were very friendly and there's one open heart surgeon knows everything about homeschool sports because his kids are homeschoolers which was surprising.....
she seems really nice and brave!!!!:) i had surgery on my right clavicle and an endoscopy procedure when i was 11 and now i'm 12. i was a little nervous for both but then they made me feel better!!!:) Sometimes surgery isn't as bad as it may think. my mom told me that when ur under anesthesia, it will be the best sleep u get. and before u now it, ur already awake!!:) Feel better and god bless u!!!!:)
This is such a great concept for a video. Hearing Amanda talk in her own voice about her experience must be great for kids to watch before/during their visit to the hospital.
but y did you walk out of the hospital i had a minor surgery and i had a weel chair cuz i whent to sleep :/

Talking a lot, and telling nothing. Such videos are nothing but propaganda, and that Amanda is only roleplaying.
