I like being able to actually hear the music now... Since I went to the show it was just constant loudness and cheering and applause... I thought my hands would go numb from clapping! It was so great! :D
Can you please send me this audio to my email, I am going to try and do a wicked parody in my town in october and I am in need of curtain call music. Please!
I just wish this incredible show could be recorded for us to be able to buy. Sondheim's "Into the Woods", "Passion", Sunday in the Park with George" and "Sweeney Todd" were ALL recorded on Broadway and are available on DVD. Why not this amazing show?
@write2doug because if there was, the performers in the show would be performing for themselves, that is of coursw unless the video was a theater exclusive
@write2doug Well Andrew Lloyd Webber recorded Cats and it was AMAZING but it closed shortly after due to ticket sails I think if this show does a recording which they DEFF. should (this and Mary Poppins) it will prob be sent out after it's ended (good luck with that one!)
@write2doug They should do that for their closing Broadway performance of Wicked. I mean, they were kind enough to do that for Rent. And who knows: it could happen for Wicked. :)
@write2doug simple, "Wicked" is still playing on Broadway (to sold out houses most of the time) if they made a video of it, a good portion of the peeople who fill the house would see no need to and the show would close.
This is a fantastic curtain call! I'm trying to write a curtain call at the moment for 1 piano, including songs from an Andrew Lloyd Webber medley, One Voice, I write the Songs and a couple of Abba Songs. I just can't get it as slick and exhilharating as this. I think the fact that the music is unbeatable helps, but it's a really wonderful piece of writing and a brilliant way to end the best show ever made.
oh yeah i never noticed that before...it's when that ladies choir is singing right before dorothy and all get to the emerald city right? "you're out of the woods, you're out of the dark, you're out of the night...step into the sun, step into the light..." that's the part right?
soundboard is a recording of a live show taken directly from te actor/actress's mic and the ochestrer with fabalous quality and the audio are almost blanked out
Do you work for Wicked?

love it!
Theres another version of this, the opening is a bit disjointed thhough, like its been cut on movie maker.
The ending sounds loads like it though.
This one's ending is a bit more jazzy though! lol awesome.
This sounds so cool!
