It was just a mess about cover to test youtube and recording my guitar.
The tone is almost a direct lift from Death Magnetic. I'm posting a 'how to' video soon for people that want it.

Thanks, it was just a mess around this one, I'll record another one as soon as I get a sdhc reader - i sold my old laptop, which had the only hc card reader i had in it - now i can't get the videos off my camcorder. Ooops!

You're very talented! I noticed you're playing James' part in this song, that's unusual for someone to cover Metallica and not play Kirk's wanky solos.

Thanks, I have always followed James over Kirk, don't know why really... guitars, rig, scores it's been more like an obsession for me to get a really good tone, and thanks to the podX3 and some tips I picked up from extremevideopro, my tone is just how I want it. I'll do a setup demo 'Soon'
