Again I have to watch a video of some nobody who nobody cares about, when I could be looking at Schumis sexy body or his face or his firm tight buttocks
eddie use to race with GILLES VILLENEUVE in trans am back in the early '70's , GILLES would over cook the car in practice and then come take eddie's car for qualifying sure he was mad at the time but now they're memories to treasure
Amazing how this doesn't seem to be possible to do any faster, but that Cheever still wasn't exactly the best driver of his time.. Imagine the other competitors.
Can't Wait until next year's F1 season because of no traction control.when i watch this video, this is how F1 should be, especially when its rainning.without traction control, thats where the real drivers come out.Great Driver & Great Video!
Amazing! See all the opposite lock. that's how it should be nowadays, with F1 cars as beasts to be tamed. Watch an onboard lap now and the lack of action behind the steering wheel is terrible. Turn in, car grips, stop steering out of corner = too easy. I think Sebastian Vettel said his F3 car was harder to drive than the BMW, which isn't how it should be!
I think they should change the rules alot, let's say the only limit is that they get a fix amount of fuel. maybe something like they have to average 3 mpg (we're not looking for best economy here just something to hold the madness back a bit) and the rest is free. Bring on the 6 litre v12 quad turbo's running on ungodly boost levels!
I didn't have all that much respect for Cheever's driving ability until the first time I saw this video on One Lap of the Gods. But running a 900hp F1 car in the rain on a street course changed my mind. The power delivery of the Renault was akin to opening an egg with a 16lb. sledghammer. In either case, unbelievable control is needed not to crack it up into a thousand tiny pieces.
Eddie Cheever racing on downtown streets of my hometown. I was there that day. I know those streets! Driving a 1000bhp F1 one beast on those streets could not have been any fun at all. F1 drivers have gonads of steel!!!
Yes, witness the throttle oversteer in the wet!

That's sic.....Turbos producing almost double hp compared to todays cars in qualifying trim. What made, Senna, Piquet, Prost ect so damm good.

Cheever was an extremely good driver of the time. I doubt any of the others would have done it any better.
