when i read harry potter book 6 i absolutely hated snape by the end, but at the chapter the princes tale, i broke down crying with every sentence as i found out what snape was truly like, my heart was broken for him, the bravest man i will ever know

Even though Severus is a fictional character I truly feel for him, at least now he's dead he can be with Lily, James or no James. Poor Snape, all this time he has been caring for Harry but with a different way of showing it and all Harry has shown to Snape has been hatred because he simply doesn't know, it's a shame that he only find's out what a wonderful man Snape was when he was dying :(

I know if it weren't for Lily & Potter there would've been no Harry so I guess that had to happen and that's great lol But the unbreakable love Snape had for Lily is just so beautiful & heart-wrenching, I often dream about a way that they could've been together at the end somehow. Maybe if Snape hadn't died and after Harry Killed Voldermort this could have caused Lily to have returned to life somehow and then, after witnessing how he had protected Harry, she would have ended up with Snape :D

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a "shipper" for anyone in any real sense... what happened in canon happened! If it weren't for "James/Lily," there wouldn't have been a Harry Potter, or the Harry Potter books! But I love the tragedy of the thing.
