@sveinndagur I'm working on a game that contains no licensed content from other games. The Platform Studio guys I assume will be using my new video as this one obviously contains copyrighted content.
To make an enemy, you will first need a sprite (which you can either create yourself or download). Then, add your sprite to tileset editor and click the custom button under behavior. Under solid, choose enemy, give it a sound on death and the amount it will hurt you when you hit it and there! I can give you a more detailed explanation about animations and such if you need it, as this is pretty vague but that's the gist of it at least. Hope it helps
all you have to do to make a boss is to copy and paste x amount of the enemy ontop of each other for the x amount of hit points. if you want 10 hit points make 10 enemies ontop of on another and it should work just ffine
Hey, to save in the trial edition, just use Window Editor, or click yes to "save changes" when you want to exit your games. To add more than the limited 25 tiles, save the new tiles you want in a new tileset and import it. To make more than 8 levels, specify the amount in the new game box as you create your game. I've been able to find ways around EVERYTHING!!
eh, not to hurt your feelings or anything, but Platform Studio sucks, bad. Have you seen a game making engine called Mulitmedia Fusion 2? It is way better, because you can literally do whatever you want with it. Draw your own sprites even, in the sprite editor it has. I would Strongly suggest you stop using PS, cuz you aren't really reaching your potential if you're using it:( Torrent MMF2 Developer version and look at the billions of youtube vids about it.
Do you know how to edit the character? Because if you dont, I made sonic, and/or mario to replace the character, and I can send them to u if u want...
I had to get platform studio removed from my computer a while ago. Now they have a trial version to download where you can't save your games. They charge you like fifteen bucks for the regular edition now and 50 bucks for the pro edition. The only way I could figure you getting the free pro edition is to torrent it.
@mrdeadguy1 Yeah I figured out how to do it. I don't know if they changed it now but, when I used the program you'd have to save your game in the main menu editing window.
is it possible to import our own tiles and characters? can the main character attack?

Theres a trick to saving your game on the Trial mode.
You go into the window editor, save it from there.
