Ayo British English, Australian English dangan kung uno-uno pang english. Kaiba na jan an Philippine English na pigparangirisian san mga elitistang pinoy. Sa punto de bista san antropolohiya, ubos na lenggwahe pantay. An ingles, di man nakalabaw.

it does matter that we get our English right, not because the skill defines who we are nor measures our intelligence, nor makes us unpatriotic but because it is important that we understand and be understood correctly. Who the hell cares if Filipinos don't know English. Us Filipinos are so brainwashed to equate intelligence to being able to speak English. Tama na! Sira na talaga ang Filipinas. At the end of the day, we are still all made fun by native English speakers, especially because we try too hard to sound like Americans.

You know what the teachers lack? Visuals. The students wouldn't have as much of a hard time learning what the word "tray" means if they actually KNEW what a tray looks like.
