@pacman6811 why not. Malaysian operate to Perth and maybe they needed to clear some pax or too many 777's were in maintenance. MAS cargo 747's come to perth too sometimes
What date was this shot? Looks to me like 2005 or 2006, as there is a 146-300 in QFLink colours still (Most likely NJL, parked after doing the Barrow Island Service) and 2 B1900's. The 1900C they don't have anymore.
Yeah it is that simple - for PPL I just put YPPH as a VFR waypoint, then put in the remarks section: "Request overshoot YPPH", that's if you want to do an overshoot of course, you can also overfly, or land.
no it was ECH, anyone can land at Perth if you have your licence, it costs about $55. Once you land you can go any where you want like for coffee in Qantas or $100 Hamburgers!! its really good training to land there, while taxing in the virgin jet was told to follow the "mooney" hahha
as of when are ECU students allowed to land at perth airport (just takin the piss considering most ecu aviation students have to fly VH-ECU on shark patrols to get hours :P)

thought it might have been SOM, coz, the other red one RACWA had was crashed on a pipe-line run.
