@LVSWTZ haha, i grew up reading marvel, and the x-men were my first comic book heroes, but honestly, looking at dc's man of steel who is vulnerable only to kryptonite (which is fictional), a detective who knows all forms of martial arts, and with an intellect so great, an amazon, who is invulnerable and that wields a laso of truth, a quickster so fast

@LVSWTZ Explain how Jean Grey, Storm, Magneto, Shaw, Rogue (post Ms Marvel powers) are in any way weaker compared to Wasp or Ant-man, both of whom are on the Avengers team. At the very least they are equal, and in most cases probably even superior. I'm not dissing Wasp or Ant-man (I'm actually quite the fan of Wasp) but she never quite struck me as belonging on a team that's subtitled 'Earth's mightiest heroes,' when there are mutants walking around that would wipe the floor with her.

@LVSWTZ Funny, but from what I remember Wasp did little more then tickle Graviton. The Hulk did most of that job, in combination with Thor. When he was weakened to a point where he couldn't even stand anymore, she finished him off with a stinger blast, but does that really count? He didn't hit her, because he thought she wasn't a threat. Well, that and she is very fast. He focused on the more serious threats. You know, Iron man, Hulk, Thor.

@LVSWTZ I'd like to see Wasp compete against some of the more powerful mutants that I just mentioned. You know, the ones that are on the X-men, Brotherhood, Hellfire club etc, that you considered to be minor league. Is she tough? Yes. Is she a superhero? Yes. Is she smart, cunning and a capable fighter? Yes to all of that. But that doesn't mean there aren't more powerful mutants walking around out there that can easily outfight her.

Mutants at one time were Uncanny and Tough but NOW They're just eye candy for littleTWILIGHT GLEE fans who just love there little teenage anx adventures. @psychotictelepath The X-Men have only just been formed (this series takes place around the time the Avengers comics began, so all the other heroes have only just emerged as well) so X-Factor/New Mutants/X-Calibur/Alpha Flight don't exist yet. Spider-Man may still be an entertainer instead of a hero right now, and the FF were said to be off-planet earlier in the show (they do show up later).
