this is a common in many rivers all over the world, its where you have two currents meeting, and these contain different salinities and temperatures, this slows the mixing process down so they can flow together for awhile but they eventually mix.
Lots of rivers do this: The Ganga and the Anaknada at Duaprayag in Uttarkashi India for example..................The Hindus claim this as their miracle.

There is also Rio Negro in Amazonas area that is Amazon's tributary. Their waters go hundreds of kilometers side by side until they finally mix. Amazon water is light brown. Filled with decaying leafs and other stuff. Negro water is black, hence the name Rio Negro.

It is not uncommon that two rivers that bring water to the delta area or just meet together have distinctive lines at the first, but they mix later. It is more visible, when the rivers come from different areas. Such when like clear mountain rivers meet agricultural rivers. Such areas are found in many parts in South America, Africa, China, North America, Europe and everywhere. Just google where Mississippi meets Missouri and see it.

There are two types of God: the deistic/pandeistic God - a perfect God that created a perfect universe; and, the theistic God - an imperfect, flawed God that having created an imperfect universe, has to interfere with it, by providing holy books, answering prayers, doing miracles.
Allah is thus imperfect and no God of mine.

If u beieve in scientific facts, then u must make research about an ocean current that exist in the indian ocean that never mix with ocean water. In fact its constituency is totally different and is of great use in medecine and cosmetic as in contains a highly mineraled water (not NaCl, table salt). Any critically reflective person with even a modicum of scientific knowledge knows that this is all extremely farfetched. 'doesn't mix' means exactly the same as 'doesn't ever mix' (and 'dosen't mix ever').
if you want 'doesn't mix' to mean it will mix over a period of time, you might say; 'doesn't mix for a while' or 'doesn't mix straight away'.
So, when it says 'doesn't mix', we all know that it does mean 'doesn't ever mix' and no amount of trying to make it say different will change that. Remember, some people do speak English as a first language.

Okay. So we've established that despite the real-life evidence contradicting Him, Allah thinks that they don't mix. That means that the Quran is wrong on this and, as it is all supposed to be from the same source, the rest of it can be wrong as well.
