Theres nothing inside, completely bare. Its been cleared for renovation.

I was inside during the summer. It was open for the public and i live 5 minutes away.

  • @29Carr92 thanks man for the info.

  • The house was sold by the fourth Lord Ashtown to Derek Le Poer Trench in 1947. Derek Le Poer Trench occupied the house until 1973, after which it was sold to a local farmer. The house changed hands a couple more times and the present owner has started on a restoration project........got this from a site the house was built in the 1700s, it will be amazing when its finished, although if its haunted I dont think it would be my dream home haha

  • @claddagh1981 Thanks so much. would loved to have got a view from the inside.

  • lol ,i see my video was in the news paper the other day, seem i have given this house a lot of unwanted visitors, hence the security cams

  • @seesnap lol you got this place on the map then.. next time you find somewhere like this. let me know before it gets to popular.

    regards

  • tomara que seja restaurada!

  • Great video!

Too bad you didn't capture any of the spirits the roam the house....or did you? You better check your footage throughly.

    Quite the adventure!

    rsmf...

  • magnificent house! must have had really wealthy people living there in its hey day...well done for gettin it on film

  • @wladniem Thank you. yes a lot of these houses had big wealthy owners. but as they died off and left it to there younger kin. i suppose the interest was not their. as time went on living went up. a lot of people went overseas to make a living. and most never came back. god knows how many houses is laying around this island of ours that was left to younger kin and never returned. i know of one such house that to this day still lays idle since i was 7 years of age. it is blocked up since then

  • So this video makes it official. You are a Hooligan!

Beautiful, house. Too bad it was let to go to the elements. I bet it can be restored. Certainly would not be cheap.

  • @cashstore1 No im not a hooligan lol. we tryed to get permission to go in.. but like many a site left to deteriorate around ireland. the owners are either over- seas or just bought old houses and ran out of money to do them up. i would never dream of taking anything out of these old houses. i just love the history of them. cheers for watching cashstore
