i think its always a good idea to tribute THE KING, but i just dont like when they ruin the songs... they should have used the originals instead of making crappy arrangements that actually cannot match Elvis's range of voice. It doesn't sound right for some reason. LONG LOVE ELVIS PRESLEY. and always remember that Priscilla is still making money with his image and dont forget she didnt help him when he needed her the most.

@xxpattytech fo the record that wasnt supposed to be two elvises it was elvis and and his twin brother jesse. mainly the act symbolized the time they spent in the womb and at the end one had fallen , that one being jesse who had died during child birth

Correction here : There is no story line, there is no emotion, there is just nothing to talk about aside from the disgrace to the Graceland owner. This is not representative of Cirque du Soleil, this is simply just not a good show! The great finally is a bunch of red scarfs falling down from the ceiling which you can catch if you're not sitting under the balcony (where I was :-(). AMAZING music!!!

Being a big fan of Cirque du Soleil, I was really disappointed by Viva Elvis. It didnt have the charm that most other cirques have. Mostly, the combination of Elvis Presley and a French Circus dont match, leaving the end product unenjoyable. I think I'll pass on all future cirques based on American artists, and stick with the more classic ones like O and Mystere.

This show doesn't look all that bad. I'm just very disappointed in Cirque about the Michael Jackson show. I don't care that all you people are gonna call me an MJ hater, but I just have to say he doesn't deserve his own Cirque show. I hope all of you realize that Cirque is only doing that creation for the money.

@thedrunkspandas I agree with you. Viva Elvis is AMAZING and the Beetles on is great too. It's great that they have their own tribute and all. But I think a MJ one is too far :\

If they were ever going to do it, it should be like 30-50 years later so it has more of a classic feel to it

AWESOME SHOW! Didn't have the Cirque feel to it that I have loved so much but non-the less I enjoyed it throughly X3 I recomend it!

They should stop now though. They are apparently making a Michael Jackson one for like 2012 or something OTL. SOMEONE STOP THEM PLEASE!

Can't agree entirely - I saw Allegria in London, and it wasn't great, but Love, in Vegas, was pretty good - and Ka, also in Vegas, was, quite simply, the best show I've ever seen in my life - and I've seen many in London ad New York, etc.

I wasn't all that crazy about the show it was like 6 out of 10. Just saw it last night 4-24. I'm not an Elvis fan though.

The part with the guitar was beautiful and I've been cryin since I saw it.

I'm going to go see this in March and I'm worried because I'm a huge Elvis fan and I've heard bad and sometimes good reviews about the show.

I don't want a show that doesn't live up to Elvis and what he was about.

mahe34...I saw the show on 2/13/2010. I was a bit skeptical as well after reading mixed reviews. I have saw most of the cirque shows in Vegas and while I can tell you this show is quite diffrent from the other cirque shows, this is a WONDERFUL show. Go in with an open mind and enjoy the story line as it progresses through his life. The band is AWEOME and they have most of the bugs worked out of the show and acrobatics. Watch out from the ceiling during the finale and you just may get a souvenir.

Yeah the live band with Elvis's voice....kickass. I'd love to play in the band too. I hope they do a soundtrack album like The Beatles "Love". A lot of Elvis fans hate messing with the masters but I'm all for creating something cool....we got the CD's of the hits, let's take Elvis places he's never been. It will just show how timeless he is and how his voice is just as relevant today as it was when he was alive.There is nobody on planet Earth that could outsing Elvis to this day...THE BEST!

i had the WORST experience at this show. it was ok for the first ten minutes and then there were technical difficlties but thank god cuz i had the worst stomach pains i have ever had in my life!!! then on top of that they kept extending the intermission to fix the technichal difficulities so of course every1 wanted a refund but they wouldnt give it back, they would only exchange it for another night!!! fortunitly, my dad is best friends with steve wynn so we finally got our money back hehe

you need to remember that this show is still in previews.. the actual gala premiere for the show is sometime mid february.. so hopefully all the technical glitches will be sorted out by then..
