That event is for helping promote the anime mermaid melody ?

Why should i say that ? Because as you can see the anime mermaid melody was played in japanese since 2003, also Tokyo DIsneysea has this "mermaid" event , so this is for helping promote that anime.

@40514073 No, I don't think this event was for promote. This was Tokyo Disneysea's first ever special event played at the sea-area, Mediterranean Harbor. They had only reguler shows at there for the first 2 years. I think it was very natural for them to pick up "Little Marmaid" as it is very popular sea related disney animation.
