This FF8 sequence has always blown my mind. I still remember getting this for christmas after it had come out. I played the new game sequence over and over. FF8 rocks.

This alone brought me into cg animation.... props to square - this in 1998 (1999?) blew my f'in mind and changed my career path. Fabulous cinamatography, and though it's early character animation, it's still above and beyond what I expected at the time.... even now it surpasses sooooo much of what's out there ; )
