Bowie doesn't need to demonstrate his vocal ability, I think it's all about interpretation. I love the vocal, it really fits the idea of a fearful man. A great song and a divine performer.

I think it's not wrong to say that you can hear that his voice has "weakened" over the years. But it goes really well with some songs on Heathen, especially the titlesong!
