@MovieManMe3 In some countries the only long arms allowed must be smooth bore.A popular combination is .410 firing slugs because it is the closest they can get to a rifle. Scope and bipod is really just for the bling factor, although at short range it's really not as inaccurate as you may think. The idea is the civillian population will never be able to compete on a millitary level with just shotguns.

You can debate barrel thickness, magazine size etc etc... but you can not however debate the gas tube. The Saiga shotguns have a distinct gas tub that looks nothing like those of the Saiga rifles.
