Here in Germany loooot of Gurus found the eyeko cream in extra glow which is only available in the UK to be a dupe for Benefits High Beam it contains a lot of Product since it's a cream and it's also around 5 Pounds I think :)

For those who don't know the conversions:

Benefit high beam is 1 milliliter more than mememe's product.

This also means its 1 gram more, but that really depends on the density difference. The mememe is way cheaper for the volume so the conversions don't really matter. :P

Strange that Benefit is measured in grams (weight) rather than the amount of liquid (mls) in the bottle. The only way to do fair comparisson is to measure the amount of liquid in the bottle of Benefit because the wieght of the bottles themselves would differ, therby giving an imprecise comparisson if you just weighed the Mememe product.

Orgasm Illuminator and MACs Rose Ole works well for my NW50 (MAC) skin tone, the NARS Multiple is waaay too glittery for a Highlighter for darker complexions I think. THX Goss, ur a genius!

I've said this before, but you tube is FULL of dupe videos for products that are only available in th USA. Just do a you tube search for 'Dupe' and Product you're looking for. As Wayne is based in the UK it makes sense for him to review the Dupes that are available here. He is the ONLY person on you tube doing reviews of Dupes that are available here in the UK, and we love him for it! :)

The Conversion is - 1g is equal to 1ml - therefore the Benefit is a whopping £2:64 per ml and the Me me me is 43p per ml. Basically, you are paying £5:25 for the Me me me and it is nearly double the size for a third of the price!

Wayne, I think an easy way to make your own highlighter -- for any skin tone -- would be to mix a bit of mica, or pigment, with a small amount of moisturizer. I've done this. Not sure if it's as good as store bought, but I can control the amount of shimmer, and the shade. :-)

I just came back after picking up Boots No.7 High Lights for $13 and then saw this video about Highbeam's dupe! I was "really" hoping you'd say Highlights was the dupe to make me extra happy about my purchase...Well, whatever! :) Not sure if the pinky glisten will suit my deep NC42 skintone! I think golden/bronzy shades suit me better. Do you know any highlights for deeper skintone?

Sorry Wayne I own both products...there's no way you can compare the two. Benefit it's certainly overpriced but it really gives a gorgeous sheen to the skin...that Mememe highlighter sucks like hell...it just leaves a pink yucky stripe on your face and when it dries up it just makes your face look even worse. one of the worst products I own actually...you should really look better into these dupes...IMHO. cheers

@sofeecat yes it's liquid but when you actually blend it in you are left with a very noticeable pink mark (and I mean a true pink shade). The benefit highbeem instead is more sheer in color, it's pretty much just a sheen.

Also the Mememe one when it dries up on your skin it feels gunky and cakey on your face : /

Try the Elf one, I'm using it now and it's the best cheap version for me.

Btw, I'm a NC15-20 and on me the pink was very obvious.

MeMeMe also have dupes for Benefit's Posietint and Benetint - called Poppy Tint and Pussy Cat respectively - also £5.25 each. Also MeMeMe have two shades of the Beat The Blues highlighters - one called Moonbeam and the other is Sunbeam. Moonbeam is suited for more pinky complexions and Sunbeam for more sallow complexions. On the MeMeMe website you can get both tints and highlighters for £15 under the Gifts section. Amazing.
