Are these birds mean to people? Beacause last year i saw a couple of these in the santa barbara zoo "bird sanctuary" and i got extremely close to petting one but i didnt want to get pecked, haha

@crammiddleschool Even birds that are not normally mean may become mean if you try to touch them because they will think you are trying to catch them or hurt them.

Zoo exhibits that have no barriers between visitors and animals or birds are wonderful. But visitors should never try to touch animals unless they are in a petting zoo area.
