  • JUST LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE REAL COUNTRY MUSIC IS GONE I LOVE YOU JOHNNY.........

  • pure music

  • this is country. not what they try to push on us today. we are not dead yet. bring back the true country music and send that so called country music to punk ville.

  • Yea John, what can I say, John at his best. Just miss ya Johnny.

  • I love just about everything Johnny sings. He just has the voice for great country music. This song has been one of my top favorites for years. I first heard it years ago by Carl Smith but I still love Johnny's best. When I found that Werley Fairburn wrote this song I realized that he was also the writer of the mega hit for Jim Reeves of "I Guess I'm Crazy". These two songs are treasures to be sure. - Thank you for posting this. - Paula

  • I feel like crying........you have taken your love from me. I'll love you forever.

  • gr8 song!

  • You can beat moderen day "so called Country", But you cant beat this. Never have i seen a person who could invent a song that could beat Classic Country. Hank Williams,Hank Snow,Don Gibson,Johnny Bush,Johnny Chash,Jody Nix,Bobby Bare,Mel Tillis,Johnny Paycheck,& the old fiddle player, Bob Wills can not be beaten by any other music. This is the REAL STUFF!

  • Love those little looks johnny glances towards the band , and gives a quick smile... We miss you man... Gosh ... we miss you. We love you johnny ...Seriously...

  • i won't even listen to country radio these days unless it's "old" country radio.

Or i'll just go to the "back of the closet" for some old waylon or cash records.

Last time i heard country radio "badonkadonk" was playin, i almost threw the radio against the wall!

  • LMAO! Yeah, today's "country" is pretty bad! *cringes*

  • til the end he was still the johnny paycheck who sung take this job n shove it, tough and real. we miss ya friend

  • So called "country" music being recorded today just absolutely and completely SUCKS compared to the real stuff like this.

  • Can't agree with you more...todays country is a far cry from what it used to be.

  • @quik7806

    Like honky tonk badonkadonk

    WTF!

    search it

  • Johnny in this video was feeling the effects of his damaged lungs from smoking. This man had a long and agonizing death... for the last yr. he could not even get out of bed according to his own son. Dragging a tank around for his dad , just to breath...

All from smoking... What a crime.

Who ever said throwing a bunck of weeds in your mouth and setting them on fire was sexy had to be crazy.

It took to many of our heros ... like johnny paycheck way to early

  • It will never get any better than this. Paycheck was a master singer. I miss him real bad.

  • We miss ya Johnny, Great singer

  • whos playing steel in these videos does anyone know

  • Lord, I,ve been there.

Thank God I'm not there anymore.

I like this ol timey country music.

  • I been a fan of his for manny years-that country ----i need heolp in finding him singing IF YOU THINK YOU'RE LONELY it's a video -him singing ir on the GRAND OLD OPRY> It was in YOUTUBE but I was told the one that had it YOUTUBE musy of pull it oit_Thanks

  • Country at its best !

  • Nashville has always been about the dollar. Even back in the 70's you had music like Milsap, mandrell, and other's that was one step away from disco. In waylon's time the producers were alawys trying to put orchestra in the mix. all these guys had to fight for the music they believed in.

  • i thought i heard most of his songs ,but this one is a true country song !!!

  • George Jones was a friend and admirer of Paycheck's music. At the end of his life, it was Jones who paid for Johnny's funeral.

  • Being one of the biggest Johnny Paycheck fans ever, I,m not surprized at some of the entries. Todays country is garbage compared to the days of Paycheck, Darrell Mccall, George, Merle, Waylon etc. These guys are the real deal. They didnt all sound the same, the real difference is they had character and personality. We need that back, we need to put the country back in country.

  • this man is what REAL country music was all about. anybody wanting to sing real country music should take lessons from johnny paycheck hes the best and there will never be another one like him!!!!

  • amen

  • I never was a real big Johnny Paycheck fan in his prime, how stupid was that. This guy can sing a country song.

  • I wish country music still sounded like that today.

  • oh and one more thing'to sit live in the front rowe when ol john was knocking it out like this was unexplainable

  • for all you country music fans'' this is what stage presense looks like' one of the greatest stars i ever witness perform live' and iv'e seen a ton

  • THIS IS "COUNTRY" MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!
