this is country. not what they try to push on us today. we are not dead yet. bring back the true country music and send that so called country music to punk ville.
I love just about everything Johnny sings. He just has the voice for great country music. This song has been one of my top favorites for years. I first heard it years ago by Carl Smith but I still love Johnny's best. When I found that Werley Fairburn wrote this song I realized that he was also the writer of the mega hit for Jim Reeves of "I Guess I'm Crazy". These two songs are treasures to be sure. - Thank you for posting this. - Paula
Good day. Please, can you send to my mail anpouch@seznam.cz Johnny PayCheck's (mp3) song Motel time again? I love this song, but I didn't found, where I can get/buy this song. If you want to send some song from me, type something. Thank you very much. František Dobrota
Even at this age he sounds great.......like good whiskey, better with time!!!! We miss you and you music Johnny........sing one for Jesus!!!! God Bless
Uhm... roll tide, I'll pass on that anyday!! but go Cats!!! lol, i love johnny, it's good to hear some songs that were tough to get on an album.... I sold that ole truck where i made so many paycheck memories... she's gone now so I guess i'll need another Paycheck "love machine rig" but hell i'm getting older every day, but the hell I'll settle down and forget living the great songs of John Austin!!!!
Just had to pick at you a little bit.Yall take care of B-ball and we will take care of football.#1 ROLLLL TIDE ROLL and happy new year.Take care and GOD BLESS.
Hi! I'm searching a song but I know that is totally different by this but the title maybe the same. it's rock...start with bass and before the rit says: feel I cry or feel like crying...many times...please answer me!!!!...:)
You can beat moderen day "so called Country", But you cant beat this. Never have i seen a person who could invent a song that could beat Classic Country. Hank Williams,Hank Snow,Don Gibson,Johnny Bush,Johnny Chash,Jody Nix,Bobby Bare,Mel Tillis,Johnny Paycheck,& the old fiddle player, Bob Wills can not be beaten by any other music. This is the REAL STUFF!
Love those little looks johnny glances towards the band , and gives a quick smile... We miss you man... Gosh ... we miss you. We love you johnny ...Seriously...
Johnny in this video was feeling the effects of his damaged lungs from smoking. This man had a long and agonizing death... for the last yr. he could not even get out of bed according to his own son. Dragging a tank around for his dad , just to breath...
All from smoking... What a crime.
Who ever said throwing a bunck of weeds in your mouth and setting them on fire was sexy had to be crazy.
It took to many of our heros ... like johnny paycheck way to early
I been a fan of his for manny years-that country ----i need heolp in finding him singing IF YOU THINK YOU'RE LONELY it's a video -him singing ir on the GRAND OLD OPRY> It was in YOUTUBE but I was told the one that had it YOUTUBE musy of pull it oit_Thanks

i won't even listen to country radio these days unless it's "old" country radio.
Or i'll just go to the "back of the closet" for some old waylon or cash records.
Last time i heard country radio "badonkadonk" was playin, i almost threw the radio against the wall!

George Jones was a friend and admirer of Paycheck's music. At the end of his life, it was Jones who paid for Johnny's funeral.
