Drove an FJ40 ('70) for 10yrs. THAT was a beast. 4 months ago I got the '10FJCruiser, and it's probably the BEST car I've owned. Manners on road are PERFECT, off road, PERFECT. It's stock, so I know better than to hard core it in the rocks, or expect it to go thru deep mud with the street tires, but it just drives sooo nice! This, coming from owning an '03 M3 (w/19's-that was a street beast) for 3yrs, and no, it's not fast, but potholes no longer haunt me, and can do plenty of trail wrk as is.
@JKryanX Yes, and Jeeps are great too! They are the "standard of the industry" for offroad in the US, but not internationally. You'd find parts easier in Africa for the Toyota than the Jeep. Still dig modded Jeeps all day long, not to mention what people are willing to do in them. Offroading is a serious money pit kids. I'm much more into trail driving to get to great campsites, then hike my fat ass up the rocks to lose some weight.

@hughesfan100, yes you can do the RC6" with the stock 17's but you will need to use a wheel spacer so the wheel doesn't come in contact with the spindle and you will want to do a body mount chop if your planning on 35" tires.
@juvi81 i doubt they added spacers, they prob added custom fox or walker evans coil overs that are longer then a normal 3 inch lift. all the RC 6 inch is is a bracket lift that drops the front diff to create lift, not ground clearance. personally an fj with a real 3.5 inch lift and a 1.5'' Bl and 35's is a lot more capable then a fj with a RC 6'' cause brackett lifts kill ground clearance. you might get 2 inches more of ground clearance then stock with the RC 6'' kit.
Dumbass there's a jeep at the top if the hill that already cleared it most likly althogh It obvious the fj has the locking diff option the fj also has noticable other aftermarket feat. Lift suss tires ext. So don't make it sond like a stock fj could do that over a stock jeep bc there are jeeps with front and rear locking diffs
This is badass. I wish all FJ's had lifted suspension and big wheels. However I'm still holding out for a diesel one. Not too keen on the 19mpg. Still love these things tho even if they do look like rolling beer coolers.

i think my comment was that they were discontinued...idk i cant find it..but they were supposed to be discontinued this year but they decided to go ahead and make a 2010 model so theyre back in buisness....but no more voodoo blue :(
