The title Racist old Men.

Not accurate. The first man says there is nothing wrong with that man, that the bum is only a product of his environment. Obviously the first man is NOT racist.

The seconed man says he was probably stealing since he could crawl. Obviously that's impossible but very probable once he could walk & the bum character does start to steal as much as he can while in the house, but is it because he is "negro"? No, but stereotypes do carry truth to a large degree.

I adore this movie - definitely one of the best films of the 80's. Dan Aykroyd was soooo great and cute - very impressive!!! Eddie Murphy and Jamie Lee Curtis were brilliant as well.

Trading Places is great choice for Christmas time - so entertaining!
