  • @greennlayman o no i get it, it was just a joke... get it :D

  • TOTCHDOWN!!

  • you can just feel the hope in his voice that the browns will make the playoffs that year...and they did :)

  • RUN WILLIAM RUN the most underrated call in Cle sports history. My God I love this call

  • "Run William Run" gives me chills every time.

  • Guess wat you all....... my name is William Green

  • This guy and bob lamey are the best

  • @FlamingPineapples1 No, Lamey is AWFUL. Donovan gets excited when the Browns make a play but he's not a lame homer troll like Lamey.

  • @VancouverChokers what? bob gets very excited when he announces! we're thinking of the same lamey right?

  • Get Well Soon Jim!

  • Get well soon Jimmy! A lot of people are pulling for you!

  • Oh man I was at this game and I was poopin my pants

  • Jim donovan you hype it up ten times greater!!!! i watched this game in Germany!!! and was screaming my ass off!!!! Forever The BROWNS!!!!!

  • Jim Donovan is the best! haha

  • this should have put the game away and yet they had to stop Vick 1st and goal from the 1 to win it

easily the moment of the decade

    which is pretty sad

    go browns

  • he went to my shool he is big i mean how can they let him go with his strength and agility

  • @gogettajay69 10-6 record, if the colts would have beaten the titans, the browns would have been the wild card

  • Years later I still get goosebumps over this call...

    RUN WILLIAM RUN!!! TAAAAAAAAAAAACHDOWN!

  • Big things r gunna happen this year

  • @tdawgy12 They shouldve never let him go

  • @G7Ingredients what they do with him

  • @gogettajay69, josh cribbs return against steelers

  • Best moment since the Browns return. The place completely erupted like we used to do it at the Muni. Felt like old times again. I was all the way at the top of the stadium, but the noise was still incredible. It makes me wonder how it sounded below.

  • I just love calls like that..it makes the game so fun. (:

  • Thank you for posting this...one of the greatest moments of the past decade for the Brownies. I'll never forget it.

  • barry stokes!!!

  • To gogettajay69: Say that to the 2007 Brown's season.

  • @videoalliance we missed the playoffs though in 07.....anderson choked and threw 4 picks against cinci and Tennessee got in not us.....02 we were in the playoffs

  • Jim Donovan is one of the best broadcasters to listen to. I get the NFL audio package every season and it's always great to listen to Jim regardless of team record.

  • @ixcuincle I agree. I haven't listened to many radio announcers from other cities, but when Jim announces, you can always get a clear picture of the formation of the play.

  • @ixcuincle Mitch Holthus and Len Dawson in Kansas City are also great. To me, Cleveland and KC have the two best radio teams in the NFL.

  • TAWCHDOWN

  • I wish Jim Donovan was my dad.

  • Jim Donovan is so awesome

  • One day I will be rich enough to come home and watch the Browns lose 6 - 8 days a year.

  • I've missed about 5 home games since I moved back to Ohio in '01. Sadly this was one. Jim Donovan is freakin' awesome!!

  • this is why i love jim donovan. still his greatest call yet. gives me chills to this day.

  • whenever i get bored, I throw this vid on and it makes me feel better. Greatest radio call ever.

  • Hell yeah, me too. Jim Donovan's radio calls during the games are the best.

  • too bad browns suck now...

  • still gives me chills.

i was in the tunnel watching this run (i used to work in the stadium) as he ran closer and closer....

if that stadium had a roof it would have fell off how loud it was.

  • This run won my fantasy football league that year. Thx William

  • Thank you so much for putting this clip up! Donovan is the best sportscaster in Cleveland, you can obviously tell he has so much passion for the Browns.

  • I was there, and it was loudest I've ever heard the crowd @ the new stadium. Winning the game on a goal line stand against Michael Vick, that was an amazing game.

  • I think I've watched this video like 25 times...i need help...

  • donovan sticks it right in there- 45! 40! RUN WILLIAM RUN! 20! 15! 10! 5! TOUCHDOWN!!! pure brilliance in sportscasting

  • I will always remember where I was when he broke this run. It was the last time all my high school buddies were together. We got together before our last semester in college to watch this game. I hope I never forget RUN WILLIAM RUN! Thanks so much for putting this up here! Classic call!

  • great moment! Remeber that Cleveland Browns GOAL LINE STAND!! I miss butch davis

  • It's funny how much better he looks as the time passes!

That goal line stand was amazing! I thought they had something special that year. When Al Lerner died the Browns looked like they had no chance to get to the playoffs. Then they won the final two and things worked out. I thought it was going to be a special post season, but we know how that worked out!

  • We were very close!! but that was like the "New Cardiac Kids" i remember a Tim Couch Hailmary vs Jacksonville LOL! the 2003-2004 Browns and the 2007-2008 browns were are best teams......since return!

  • thanks!!
